I always cringe with the way that the contestants introduce themselves as “fugitives on the run” to strangers. Obviously one of those unspoken rules and/or some of their intro is edited out where they explain its for a show.

What’s the go with the Hunters brother just randomly being at the station tonight? That can’t be a coincidence.

Gloves Off. Times Up For Boxer Coach Duo.

Hunted. Captured: Taylah and Glenn, Queensland.

Tonight on Hunted, the fugitives tried every trick in the book to dodge capture, and a hot lead saw ground Hunters circling in on Glenn and Taylah, as their lengthy game of cat and mouse finally came to a dramatic end.

The hunt kicked off when Hunted HQ received a lead on gamer duo Ben and Callum’s location through an ATM hit. Surprisingly, the CCTV footage revealed an older man making the transaction, leading to suspicions that one of the boys’ dads may be involved. Hunted Team Delta raced to Callum’s dad’s house, the very place where the fugitives were heading after days of camping. Just as they thought they were approaching safety, a horrified Ben and Callum spotted Ground Hunters in full interrogation mode and managed a quick escape.

Meanwhile, Tharren and Jordan continued to fly under the radar by relying on strangers for help. Lost for leads, Hunted HQ decided it was time to question Jordan’s nearest and dearest, his pregnant wife, Alyse. After quickly discovering that it was Jordan’s son’s second birthday the following day, Hunted Team Charlie were convinced he would try to make contact. Pre-empting the Hunter’s suspicions, Jordan decided that the birthday wasn’t worth risking it for the biscuit, and instead he celebrated his son’s second birthday on the run.

Having narrowly avoiding capture three times, Glenn and Taylah became the target of the determined Hunters. CCTV footage had revealed them leaving a boxing gym in friend Marcos’ car, leading two Ground Hunter teams to race to Marco’s address. However, Glenn and Taylah continued their evasive strategy, swapping vehicles and leaving their backpacks at Marco’s house for him to transfer to a new vehicle. Seeking refuge at neighbour Craig’s house, they believed they were safe. But they were proved wrong when Marco returned to find Team Alpha had beaten him back.

With time ticking and Marco’s absence raising suspicion, Craig’s wife offered them a getaway, but an intercepted phone call led the Hunters directly to them. A high-stakes chase followed, ending in a dramatic and emotional capture of Boxer Taylah and, then shortly after, Coach Glenn. A huge win for Hunted HQ.

Since their near miss at Callum’s dad’s home, the Gamer duo had been laying low at a local campsite. Tired, exhausted, hungry, and paranoid, they headed into the nearest town. When a kind stranger on the railway platform offered for them to stay at his for the night, they jumped at the opportunity, but everything was not as it seemed. The seemingly kind stranger soon snuck away to make a call to his sister, Kellie from none other than, Hunted Team Delta.

14 fugitives remain on the run as Hunted continues Monday night at 7.30pm on 10 and 10 Play.

Hunted. Continues Monday 24 July at 7.30pm On 10 And 10 Play.

Hunter HQ having “access” to ANPR (albeit from the producers) put it at a huge advantage over the teams.

and im not believing all these coincidences this season

Yeah some of these coincidences seem really far-fetched and the whole plugging things into their router and home network was just weird too. It doesn’t feel like an even playing field - people will naturally be going for the fugitives to win in most cases but it does feel very heavily weighted against them at times.

It’s Game Over For Ben And Callum.

Hunted. Captured: Ben And Callum, Victoria.

Tonight on Hunted, a risky social media taunt had the Hunters hot on the trail of besties Sonja and Elerrina, and when brother sister duo Byron and Tanase finally used their burner phone, the Hunters turned up the pressure as they closed in.

In a surprising and unbelievable twist, the Hunters struck gold when Ground Hunter Kellie’s brother called to inform her that he had picked up gamer Fugitives Ben and Callum. Ground Hunters Kellie and Michelle quickly planned an ambush, and after a dramatic foot and car chase, Ben was first to be captured, quickly followed by Callum, making Ben and Callum the fourth team to be captured. To hear about Ben and Callum’s time on the run, check out their interview on 10 Play HERE.

With two less Fugitives on the run, the Hunters turned their attention to best friends Sonja and Elerrina, who had used a social media taunt as a cover while moving east in Gippsland. As the Hunters investigated Elerrina’s networks, the besties were thoroughly spooked when the Hunters paid a visit to their next contact, Jess, prompting them to change their plans entirely and leave the Gippsland area.

Brother and sister duo, Byron and Tanase, used their burner phone to arrange transport to a family friend’s Alpaca Farm, unknowingly alerting the Hunters to their contact, Ryan. It didn’t take long for the Hunters to track Ryan’s car, and Hunted Team Delta immediately raced to the area. Knowing the fugitives were close, the Hunters launched a Wanted poster campaign and questioned locals. But it was an alarming phone call alerting the Fugitives to Hunters in the area, that left them on edge, not knowing where to turn next.

Meanwhile, Fugitives Holly and Josh continued to rely on Josh’s paramedic network to move across regional Victoria. However, as the Hunters uncovered messages between Josh and Joel, they dispatched Hunted Team Bravo to Joel’s home suspecting he was housing the Fugitives. What the Hunted team didn’t know, was that Holly and Josh had fled to a nearby campsite as they anxiously awaited their next paramedic contact, Austin. With Team Bravo and Team Echo sweeping the area, the Fugitives narrowly escaped just as a drone closed in on their hiding spot.

With 13 days left, 12 fugitives remain on the run as Hunted continues Tuesday night at 7.30pm on 10 and 10 Play.

Yeah as my wife pointed out - he was a dodgy guy hanging at a train station, who lived nearby and seemed to have time to take them back to his place without worrying about the train he would miss until the fact that he was a Hunter’s brother made the audience forget all of that.

According to News Corp:

Turns out Kellie’s brother Matt wasn’t innocently waiting for a train.

Rather, he’d finished work for the day and was sitting at Wandong’s only pub, which is directly opposite the station. Spying Callum and Ben on the platform with their camera operator in tow, he realised he might’ve just stumbled on some of the fugitives his sister was tasked with finding - so he went to the train station to listen in, when the boys approached him. A good brother but no friend to fugitives, he lured Callum and Ben back to his house, then called Kellie to dob them in.

Still don’t believe it was a coincidence that a hunter’s brother was randomly near a railway station and managed to find two “fugitives” his sister was hunting. Really like Hunted but this took away some of it’s credibility for me.

10 are so useless, only 3 episodes are available on P+ and I binged them quickly so now I’ve had to come to 10 play to catch up with the latest eps.

There is no rhyme or reason to their strategy with uploads, in fact it seems they are devoid of any strategy or communication about when episodes are available. Useless

There actually is a pattern.

Friday’s.

MasterChef, Cheap Seats, Aussie Dramas all are dropped on Friday’s for that current weeks episodes.

They’ve been hopeless with 10play for years now and are just as hopeless with Paramount+.

Siblings Succumb Under Pressure.

Hunted. Captured: Byron and Tanase, Victoria.

Tonight on Hunted, the pressure of being on the run was finally hitting home for best friends Sonja and Elerrina, while an extensive search of CCTV footage from day one gave the Hunters new intel on low-profile Fugitives, Bayan and Eesha and luck was running out for siblings, Byron and Tanase.

Since fleeing Gippsland, best friends Sonja and Elerrina found refuge at their friend’s house in Traralgon, but the fear of imminent capture weighed heavily on Elerrina. After a few dead ends, Jay from the Hunted Cyber team devised a cunning plan, impersonating Sonja’s pet sitter Jess to contact Elerinna’s former boss Leeroy, hoping to lead them to the Fugitive friends.

Hunted HQ then shifted their focus to Bayan and Eesha, who had been flying under the radar since day one. Methodically going through CCTV footage from their very first moments on the run, Hunted HQ found footage of Bayan and Eesha getting into a car registered to Nasim, an associate of the Fugitives. Further investigation revealed another associate, Angus, who was now a significant person of interest. Little did the Hunters know, Angus was also known to the Fugitives as the elusive Mr. Balaclava. Team Alpha interrogated Angus, who was extremely tight lipped but admitted to providing the Fugitives with a care package.

After siblings Bryon and Tanase had received word of the Hunters’ sighting from their seemingly safe Alpaca Farm, they were sent into a panic and couldn’t agree on their next move. Tanase wanted to return to the city, while Byron wanted to go completely off the grid and camp. Meanwhile, Hunted HQ had received numerous calls from their local Wanted campaign, leading them directly to the Alpaca Farm, but unfortunately for the Hunters when they arrived, Byron and Tanase were nowhere in sight.

After moving to Broadmeadows, the siblings bickered some more about staying at their friend Naree’s place, and eventually agreed to contact a friend for assistance. Intercepting the phone call made from Melbourne Zoo, Hunted Team Charlie tracked the duo to Naree’s residence. But just as Byron and Tanase were about to leave, Tanase noticed someone at the front door. Unable to flee, the siblings hid in a wardrobe while Hunted Team Charlie raided the premises. After an intense and gut-wrenching search, Byron and Tanase were captured. It was an emotional end to the sibling’s time on the run.

With nine days left, 10 Fugitives remain on the run as Hunted continues Sunday night at 7.30pm on 10 and 10 Play.

To hear about Byron and Tanase’s time on the run, check out their interview on 10 Play here.

Some strategy if that is that case, you shouldn’t have to figure out when shows will or won’t become available.

Theres no promotion on P+ of new eps being available on there either, you have to search for Hunted to find it. Almost like they don’t want you to find it there?

Anyway, enjoying the show for what it is again this season and trying to forget about the little thing aren’t overly believable.

There must be some weird rule around having to give over your phone to the Hunters if they suspect or know the fugitives have been there?

Case in point in ep4 when they were closing in on Glenn & Taylah and the contact gave over their phone to the hunters so they then got the number or the people they were with, then that guy willingly gave his phone again so they quickly got the car they escaped in.

What’s wrong with 10Play? I often miss shows and watch them later the same evening that they aired. I don’t think that I’ve ever had an issue with anything being available.

I have to agree with this. The major issue I have is that shows always go on 10-play very quickly (from my experience) while P+ if a show is also going on there, then P+ is not given priority and it goes to ten-play first while P+ just lags behind.

There just needs to be a better and clearer strategy. For example, in the US a lot of the networks tell viewers “Streaming next day on [platform]”.

Simple.
