I’m probably really late to this (I’m only just seeing it now on gogglebox) but Focus tower has been used multiple times for the launch episodes of UK I’m a celebrity as a heights challenge. It would be interesting to see if the owners of the building have any affiliation with TV production companies.

Last night’s reveals had a “Shop the look” QR Code from Ebay to buy what was in the room. I thought I would be able to find it myself but nope. Has anyone found this page?
I found that so annoying, as it covered so much of the screen at a crucial time during the room reveal. As a protest, I’m staying away from eBay for the foreseeable future. 
Ebay doesn’t even have anything about house rules at all

That’s been a problem for years - the judging and reveal used to be half of the final show of each 4 episode renovation, but for the last few years it’s been across two episodes and tedious as hell.
P.S. Watch the first three episodes now and the new judges seem OK. Jamie and Abby completely flat as hosts though. Cast seems pretty decent though but is let down by over production.
The reveal and judging episodes are the most popular and the renovation episodes are not watched as much, so it makes sense to expand those bits. I would do one episode of renos, one reveal and one judging each week. Any extra reno bits could be included as flashbacks in the reveal episode.
I can’t see the point of having both Jamie and Abbey as hosts. Unless Jamie is going to skip being onsite for some of those state renos, I don’t see why you need two hosts. Maybe they should have kept the voice over guy and not had Abbey at all.
I would have made Jamie a judge. I don’t think the other two are keeping up with LLB at all. And it shows.
I’m also not sure they’ve casted very well this season. I can’t put my finger on it but not really warning to any of them.
She has given some bad advice in previous seasons, advising contestants to go a particular way but then the judges have hated the look and it’s the contestants who are of course told they stuffed up.
I’ve found it hard to relate to the Miami/gelato theme. People are used to the basic HR home renovations, not glitzy Gold Coast penthouse renos. And for little ol’ me, I think some of the wallpaper and gelato combinations are pretty yuk.
Still struggling to see the purpose of the co-host. The more I see her the more I don’t understand why she’s there. Jamie’s hosted shows for many, many years and he knows what he’s doing. It comes across that Abbey is only there to up the female quota on the show.
That’s a harsh judgement since it’s just the first place we’ve seen them do it. I thought they were better than expected for their first time doing it.
Too soon to judge that too. It takes a while to get to know the contestants.
In the past I noticed she only appeared when one of the teams was about to make some horrendous styling decision, and she’d pop in just in time to save the day.
Mind you, she definitely could be the long-lost sister of the twins!
I’m judging both on how I feel after watching the first week.
Durie said that the series starts and ends at the penthouse, so you may have your wish. It is or was a two story penthouse as you can see on this YouTube video. So maybe the series will finish with the top level being renovated??
