Tonight’s Sports Celebrity of Who Wants to be a Millionaire is on at the moment. Good timing to have it tonight, since there is no NRL match schedule (like other Thursdays). It is scheduled for a 9.12pm finish.

Ridiculous duration for what’s supposed to be an hour long show. It’s almost two hours!

I wonder how much unnecessary ‘banter’ there was between Eddie and the contestants.

The intros have been the most painful part - since there are two celebrities playing at the same time.

I agree that the duration of the show is ridiculous. Should be an hour long. Like the good old days.

The banter is bad enough as it is. lol. Without all the long intros and the unnecessary chit chat, it could easily be fit into 60 minutes

i loved the episode but they should’ve broken that up into two parts like the celebrity special.

Here’s hoping an ordinary series comes from this.

I can’t imagine them running a weekly WWTBAM alongside Hot Seat.
But who knows.

An ordinary season airing on Monday nights before Footy Classified alongside Hot Seat. Unlikely to happen.

Spoiler alert

Eddie gets a question wrong as Ask The Host in today’s episode.
He was filthy about it too.

Non SCA viewers will see this around 5.55.

thanks for that.

Poor contestant, but i love seeing Eddie getting a question wrong, and getting flustered about it too. For someone who “knows it all”. lol

This show is hardly going to be fairly compared to The Chase anymore. It’s at 4pm in two markets, it will be at 4.30 in regional markets.

Already is through SC9.

Good point. So it’s not on a fair level with The Chase.

Another “inside tip” is to just listen to Eddie’s over-obvious hints for locking in an answer.

As someone who once auditioned for Hot Seat, I’d say having a few interesting ‘stories’ to tell on-air is highly important.

That rules me out.
