I’m going to hold off posting any more caps to avoid potential spoilers
But to add that since the contestants are all from Queensland there has been some local general knowledge questions.

Don’t you mean Especially rather than Even. But they don’t have a real audience.
Wish they’d get a decent red chair, instead of one that looks like it was on sale at Fantastic Furniture.
She only won $20,000.

Well I switched off after the intro thinking groan another Hot Seat story.
Millionaire Hot Seat will be seen at 2pm in Perth and 4pm in Brisbane next Wednesday.
HOT SEAT IDEAS
Idea 1: Hot Seat Celebrity Week
30 Celebrities compete for the week, and donate the money to charities
Idea 2: Hot Seat Kids
Kids compete in the Hot Seat
Idea 3: Bring back original Millionaire
I like Idea 1 better.
Idea 4 from me - bring back “Sale Of The Century”.
Idea 5: Combine idea 1 and 3 together and air it in primetime. Best of both worlds with the original Millionaire and also Hot Seat.
Idea 6: Just axe the damn show and launch something new whether it’s Tipping Point Australia, a 5pm bulletin or whatever.
I lost just about all interest in Hot Seat (aside from those eps which featured people I knew from social media) when the $1 Million went off and after it became an hour long show. Between the “Fastest Finger” segment, the contestant backstories and sometimes sneaking in cross promotion/product placement as questions, Hot Seat just isn’t enjoyable to watch anymore.
That’s one of the reasons why I suggested those ideas above
If my memory is correct, Hot Seat has done celebrity/charity specials in the past while I don’t think a kids version of the show would really work - legally you’d probably have to give the cash prizes anyone under 18 wins to their parents or a charity.
They could say “for your education” or something?
Which could make a better competitor to The Chase Australia.
I don’t think some residents would want to be watching such an overload of news, would require more re-scheduling.
Assume Melburnians will be tuning back into Hot Seat again then, after a brief stint of watching the Chase AU. I do wonder what will happen to the Brisbane audience.
People watch shows based on whether they are produced in the state they live in? How barbaric.
