Nice to see 2DayFM rebrand to 2TayFM as well.

Clever. And sounds better than SWIFT106.5.

Personally not a fan of these gimmicky rebrands… I’m still scarred by 4B-Hyundai

Did they change the RDS?

To be fair, wasn’t 2DayFM one of the originals of doing this annually with 2GayFM as part of Mardi Gras?

I think SCA have been reading this!

“Rebrand” isn’t on air from Monday.

Hit Network doing “Tay Tay All Day”, every song is Taylor Swift today.

B105 in Brisbane isn’t. Neither is 2Day FM in Sydney.

So from what I gather, 2TayFM will literally be playing Taylor Swift (one of their core artists) tracks back-to-back during its local hours?

I suppose their strategy is to lure every Swiftie to tune (and hopefully stick) to 2DayFM.

Meanwhile, 2MMM is doing the complete opposite with their $50,000 No Repeat Workday.

Not today it isn’t. RnB Fridays is on.

Isnt that a form of torture barred by the UN?

In all seriousness… Its good theyre trying to get listeners in who are younger.

The challenge will be keeping them when they return to their regular formats.

Not necessarily. With young people, comes parents. Perhaps they might not keep the youngsters, but they might keep the Mums and Dads.

Continued throughout the weekend on Fox FM.

(I somewhat doubt it), but has anybody listened to 2TayFM this morning/today? How far have they gone with the rebrand? And it’ll be interesting to see once the proper workday gets underway (from 11am) just how good the jocks go staying so passionate about Taylor Swift.

Mind you, that’s probably how/why 2DayFM got away with this… the fact their music shifts nowadays really only go from 11am-3pm, which isn’t too painful for the jocks, surely…

Jimmy & Nath are off this week as Nath got married over the weekend. The Pulse with Seany B & Emma G are filling in.
