Maybe they could put Mike E & Emma on Hit nights. I feel they are wasted at the moment. Make it RnB Fridays every night. That would be fun and nice to have a more music based show at night again, like the Ash London days.
Thatâs a very good idea.
Who are Ryan and Tony with?
if your talking about the podcast its exclusive to spotify
Oh I thought they had a radio show? Maybe they shouldâŚ
I forgot they were back on the radio! It was fun at first but needing to load up an app in the car was a hassle. Would get the younger audience back to listening night time radio.
Their podcast is now no longer exclusive to Spotify but a podcast made by Spotify.
It recently became available on more platforms.
KIIS & Nova are both music shows though. For a POD it makes sense to do a content based show. As long as itâs actually good!
Foxâs Fifi, Fev and Nick are broadcasting live from Las Vegas this week. Due to time difference, they are on air from 1pm to 4pm local time, Sunday to Thursday.
They have also brought a small group of listener competition winners to come along for an all night challenge.
Hopefully unlike Tom and Olly back in 2021, their show lasts the long haul.
Question is who takes over late nights - Mike E and Emma, or local presentation?
Status quo Iâd say - announcer-free music on the network.
Tom & Olly was a good show, Hit got rid of so much talent and leaves them in circumstances where they are short of good talent.
I liked their show as well, as well as Danny Lakeyâs show that aired before Tom and Olly. (even if it got too raunchy at times).
Even remembered Collective Noun (Danny Lakey didnât go to midnight at this time, It ended at 10pm iirc). I believe they made a fragrance that was had the scent of bunnings snags. The vid is definitely on YT, just couldnât find it as it was about 5-7 years ago. They still have a show (Zac and Dom, on the KIIS network)
I do agree that HIT are burning through talent, they should retain more people for longer, especially in the networked shows. Nice to have an announcer at the bare minimum, and not endless automated music.
I belive Tom & Olly were offered another on-air role in the network when they got taken off nights but they declined.
Yep in 2019 it used to be;
Ash London Live 6:30-8pm
The Danny Lakey Late Show 8-11pm
Collective Noun (Zac & Dom) 11pm-1am
Tom & Olly 1am-5am
And the bunnings snag thing was 2019. So 4 years ago

I have always found that people and businessâs that use a Z in place of a S have a fundamental lack of true creativity. I straight away think of 2 single eyebrow brothers opting to name their fish shop JJâZ Fish and Chipzz. Fridayz, why?
