The fact SCA/Hit branded it as Fridayz Live this year, could it mean a gradual transition away from the RnB Fridays brand?

Ie maybe in 2023 weā€™ll just see ā€œHit presents Fridayz Liveā€, meaning it could be the end of a dedicated day of RnB on the Hit Network?

4 more years of Carrie and Tommy?

How cruelā€¦ reminds me of the George Gregan sledge against the All Blacks rugby team in 2003

Good news. Quite enjoy listening to them on the radio. Wonder if. they will move to the main FOX Fm studios or stay in the little studio at 10 when Carrie leaves the projectā€¦

Why would they stay in the Channel 10 studio when Carrie leaves? Como is hardly a commuterā€™s paradise

Well that should put to bed rumours about 2Day brekkie.

Weā€™d all still like to see Mike E and Emma on 2Day brekkie and a return to CHR format.

With Carrie doing The Project currently, is the whole show live. Or is that something we can look forward to next year?

3-5 is live and then 5-6 is a replay of 3-4.

Oh I didnā€™t know that.
Thatā€™s not great, repeating something that was on only 2 hours earlier.

Donā€™t they record 2-3, then go live 3-5?

That sounds logical given Carrieā€™s ā€œThe Projectā€ commitments.

I believe they used to just do a ā€œliveā€ show from 2-5 and play it an hour delayed, but then realised it wasnā€™t working with callers etc. so changed to recording the 5-6 hour from 2-3, then going live 3-5. On days neither has commitments at 10 they do the show fully live. That will of course be the normal now.

For once, SCA will be the clear winner with Carrieā€™s departure from The Project.

Depends how you look at it. If The Project dips further with Carrieā€™s departure, their TV network will suffer.

From the RadioInfo article:

From 5 December the Hamish & Andy podcast will be played in Hitā€™s Breakfast slot across the nation leading into Christmas and gives listeners a chance to hear the laughs, gags and comedic genius of the duo on the radio waves once again.

SCA is taking a different approach this summer, broadcasting highlights from a podcast rather than a live, national breakfast show as in previous years.

Letā€™s face it, re-runs of H&A are probably more listenable than some of the cheesy summer line-ups.

ā€¦ And does it include 2DayFM this year? Or are they running non-stop music? ā€¦

possibly but it shows a lack of faith in the up and comers in the organisation. Summer breakfast is the perfect time to blood some new talent and try some new combos without too much blowback.

Highlights! HAā€¦ That wouldnā€™t give them much content!
