Currently in Canberra and have been listening to Hit 104.7, they are still using the Hits and Old School Positioner.
The Canberra Fm joint venture have not implemented the changes that have been made across the fully owned Hit stations.

Wouldnât be overly surprised if Hit 104.7 doesnât get the new branding until next year, especially since sister station Mix 106.3 only relaunched with the current KIIS-style logo fairly recently.
The music is still more modern then the other regional Hit stations, no 80âs, obviously not to cause major overlap with Mix 106.3.
I would not be surprised if Hit 104.7 keeps the same positioner, unless SCA tells them that they must fall into line with their fully owned Hit stations, but this will make them too close to Mix 106.3.
Mix 106.3 needs to become a Pure Gold Station if Hit 104.7 is to adopt the new positioner and format of the other Hit stations.
Both Perth and Canberra face the same dilemma. They both have Hit stations, along with a Mix branded station (which are aligned to the Triple M network). However, if they were to pivot the Hit stations to the current Hit Network format, theyâd be treading on the toes of their sister stations (re: music and target audience). Both Mix stations already skew towards an older female demographic, but with things like footy and Kennedy/Molloy thrown into the mix.
So, what do they do? Rebrand the Mix stations to Triple M, taking that networkâs male skew and then pivot the Hit stations? Or, do they pivot 92.9 and 104.7 to Triple M, leaving the Mix stations to adopt Hit Networkâs new branding? Accounting for the joint venture in Canberra, Mix 106.3 would likely take the sound of the Hit stations but keep the KIIS style logo.
Didnât Fox FM used to play Classic Rock in the early to mid-90s?
Yep - before Austereo acquired Triple M.
But from what I heard, Fox FM did play top 40 at nights during the Classic Rock Format.
Also still played take 4O Australia on Sunday afternoon.
Quite an interesting logo - I can see similarities to the current Triple M colours in that logo. I wonder if thatâs what inspired the current Mâs logo?
Iâve noticed that the RnB Fridays on Club MTV still uses the old logo. I wonder how long that will take to update.
It appears that RnB Fridays no longer runs through any of shows meaning that its only on from 9am to 3pm. Still doesnt fit with the branding though.
It has been like that all this year, so definitely reducing itâs presence.
I wonder how long it will last as it does not fit with the current format.
Fifi Box is taking a break from Fox FM breakfast show this week to grieve over the death of Lisa Curry and Grant Kennyâs daughter Jaimi. Jaimi was also a half-sister to Fifiâs daughter Trixie, after Grant Kenny had a brief relationship with Box and Trixie was born in April 2013.
Are you sure it was brief? Just because you didnât know about it, doesnât mean it wasnât longer.
The new Hit Network jingles package by ReelWorld are probably one of the best Iâve hard for awhile. ReelWorld suppled a jingles package for 2Day FM back in 2018 and it was horrendous.
Get the 2Day FM feeling.
I didnât mind the 2018 jingles. This one is better though.
