Hearing 92.9 will revert to 6PM
That would be amazing, if true. Iâm assuming it would be PMFM though.
That sounds a bit 1980âs. PMFM would be better.
If itâs true, I hope to one day hear a sweeper that says âPMFM 92.9, whatâs the point!? The little dot between the 2 and the 9.â For anyone not familiar, that was a classic sweeper played back in the 90âs on PMFM.
Interesting. Only on that blue/grey background does it resemble anything close to the new Hit logo otherwise I wouldnât have thought twice about it.
Iâm sure if you look hard enough now, youâll find similarities with any mainstream logo nowadays.
Yeah.
Damn, the glitches with the ad breaks on Hit Dance are getting annoying when you listen all day.
It is now literally happening every ad break.
How has no one there noticed it?
Assuming listening via the app is the same as on DAB
Has the playlist on hit dance changed since launch? I gave up on it after a week of listing to the same songs day in day out. 90s dance one minute and early 2000s the next.
Exactly the same problem on Hit Oldskool via the app, almost every ad break thereâs a glitch, youâll hear one ad finish, then the last 2 or 3 seconds of another ad or the start of one ad, then a few seconds later another ad will just cut in, itâs been happening for months.
Yes thatâs one of the reasons I find listening to radio via apps to often be frustrating. Some are better than others but if itâs a choice between FM/DAB and online, I choose terrestrial radio every time. Especially in the car. On the home desktop they seem to work better for me, and Iâm not trying to change stations all the time like I am in the car.
Melbourne has updated its jingles to now say âThis is the Foooooxâ rather than âThis is Foooxâ
I agree, however if streaming offered a higher bit rate via wifi and mobile, Iâd be inclined to listen to that more often.
Tunein allows a higher bitrate i think. 128?
Interesting that since the re-focusing - there seems to be no blocks of just Australian music late at night or on Sundays anymore when you look at the playlists. Aside from Ash London and RnB Fridays, the format rolls consistently.
I am rarely on the radio section of these forums, so my question may be known to users?
Hit Networkâs Central West Station has announced this morning that todayâs show was the last of Mike & Gia, citing âinternal restructureâ as the reason and that we would be getting a new show from Monday. Are HIT removing local shows in favour for national? - If so, that is a shame
Yeah unfortunately they announced 20 regional morning shows were being axed.
Take a look at the SCA Regional thread. Discussion in there
I canât help but feel the new hit logo looks like it belongs to a shop where I can get some photocopying done.
