…or maybe even 2DayFM breakfast?

There’s my quip about their poor ratings for this survey! :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Certainly likely if he can score himself a breakfast/Drive show gig.

Thanks @killy06. Brisbane may have turned the corner to solve the parking situation for staff and visitors which was a nightmare at William Jolly Place. No more swapping cars to fit in.

Visitors will have two hours free as a minimum with the building’s parking available to shoppers and cinema patrons.

For staff using public transport, most will have a slightly longer walk from Roma Street rail and bus stations. For those arriving in operating hours, now a secure, undercover car park with CCTV.

With great terms from the building freeing up more to spend on fit out, the essentials must be remembered.

Fifi Box’s maternity leave fill in will be announced tomorrow morning.

Which may make any future appearances on Studio 10 difficult, unless the show is broadcasting from Melbourne.

Congrats to Yvie though.

Certainly was not expecting this level of success with them leaving gogglebox. They clearly resonate with the public.

Yvie will likely be next to host Weekend Breakfast across the network. This is how it all begins.

Fox has followed Triple M Brisbane by giving away its entire CD collection to a lucky listener this morning. To celebrate the giveaway, Fifi, Fev and Byron also invited singer Joanne Accom to the studios yesterday to perform her 1998 hit Jackie.

Joanne, definitely a one hit wonder.

She actually had five other top 40 hits (seven singles in total) but none were as successful as this song.

True.

What you’ve gotta all remember, this is Australia, apart from a few exceptions who have international songwriters delivering content to them (Kylie), this is a country that doesn’t foster pop music.

A good mate of mine was part of Jo’s management team.

It was all done on a wafer thin budget with even tighter returns despite the success. There was not the cashflow to invest onwards, a common problem in Australia, especially in this sector. They struck it lucky and more or less left it there.

Ah, Lowie’s ‘favourite’.

2Day FM is doing a “one hit wonder Monday”.
