Have You Been Paying Attention?

It’s strange that Andrews didn’t submit a question - he’s usually fairly accommodating for 10 when The Project requests to do interviews with him.

Noticed all the episodes have vanished from 10Play. Strange.

Anyone know when the show returns?

Usually around May, isn’t it?

Have You Been Waiting For This News?

Have You Been Paying Attention? Is Coming Soon To 10.

It’s the news you have all been waiting for.

Have You Been Paying Attention? is returning to Mondays, with all your favourite segments, all your favourite faces, all packed into one fast and loose hour of glorious entertainment.

Returning with his thick skin and impeccable timing, Quizmaster Tom Gleisner will be in place to take you through a hysterical whip through the week that was.

Gleisner is ready to launch questions at our permanent panellists, Sam Pang and Ed Kavalee, plus a rotating roster of our country’s funniest comedians.

You can expect the dubious headlines from the past seven days to be treated with the irreverence and buffoonery it deserves.

Lining up for a chance to lay claim to the lowest score in season ten are New Zealand’s strongest comics Urzila Carlson, Hayley Sproull and Melanie Bracewell; seasoned professionals Tony Martin, Kitty Flanagan and Glenn Robbins; sassy favourites Anne Edmonds and Celia Pacquola; cheeky rascals Mick Molloy and Marty Sheargold; and TV legends Amanda Keller, Pete Helliar and Denise Scott.

The list goes on, and we say that, because we are still checking everyone’s brave enough to return.

Have You Been Paying Attention?

Premieres Monday, 16 May On 10 And 10 Play On Demand.

Same show, new news.

Tom Gleisner, Ed Kavalee and Sam Pang are ready and raring to launch the tenth season of Have You Been Paying Attention? on Monday, 16 May on 10 and 10 Play On Demand.

Quizmaster Tom Gleisner explains: “To reach ten seasons is a true TV milestone. For a start, it’s nine more than Pooch Perfect .”

Gleisner asked regular contestant Ed Kavalee why he thought audiences enjoyed the show so much. His answer was simple: “Because we refuse to go away. Every season is like a new variant.”

According to fellow regular contestant Sam Pang, there is another reason why people love the show: “Because by the time our show starts, they’re drunk.

No judgment from us, everyone has their reasons for why they are counting down the days until they can start their week on the right foot with Have You Been Paying Attention?

I was expecting for the show to return on the first week of May. It returned on the first week of May the last two years.

Good move by 10, avoiding the 2 hour 15 minute long season premiere of Big Brother next Monday.

Not sure why 10 would be afraid of Big Brother when HYBPA frequently out-rated Big Brother in TP and demos last year.

Hopefully this time the show will go all the way to the end of the year in December. That month is crying out for more decent new content from 10 yet all they’ll most likely dish up is Jamie Oliver and Dog House repeats.

Yeah, quite likely. If it starts 2 weeks later then it probably won’t end in November.

I am surprised it even runs for so long in the year. Working Dog have a history of not over milking their product.

I am sure if 10 got its way it would be almost 52 weeks a year or even a nightly show even how it rates!

They also have to do the cheap seats at the same time and decide how to divvy up the stories for the best jokes and HYBPA is losing out in that respect.

Not really. HYBPA screens the day before so they have a better chance of getting in first.

Plus HYBPA relies on the quick wits of the comedians more than planned or prepared jokes for Tom from the writers or producers.
