Yesterday I heard

Underworld - “Underneath The Radar” on Triple M.

I don’t listen to the Ms that much, so I’m not sure how regularly it pops up on their playlist - but I personally hadn’t heard it on the radio in ages! Loved it.

“Underneath the Radar” ranked 276th in Triple M’s recent Most Played Countdown.

One of my early favourite songs as a kid, still love it, and fairly rarely heard too

One of those songs that was heavily played in the 90s but seemingly not as much now. Dare I say it, it flies underneath the…never mind.

Immediately takes me back to FM104 in the very late 80s.

Very much a K-Rock staple in the 90s too, hence probably why I love it

I mostly remember it from frequent airplay on Star 104.5 about 15 years ago.

Along with “In A Big Country” (with the full drum intro and all), it’s one of my favourite tracks from their “plays Rockstars” era.

I heard this too on the regionals on Monday and I was going to put this song in here.

I had a bit of a listen to Monday and they were playing some ok songs.

And of course, after our discussion of this song, 4MMM go and play it today don’t they

Three of my favourites in quick succession on Double J’s full replay of the 1995 Hottest 100 today:

Common People - Pulp (placed at #38)
Everything Zen - Bush (#33)
Evidence - Faith No More (#29)

There’s been some other good songs and also plenty more still to come when looking at the countdown! Not much filler in this one.

:star_struck: Those three songs gets a big thumbs up’s from me.
