we built this city by starship on MMM brisbane. the only reason i put it here was because the DJ in the song actually said “the city by moreton bay”

The actual lyrics are “the city by the bay”. Did they speak over it or something?
When the song was first released there were localised versions each to match various stations. 4IP always played a localised version of the DJ.
