Was there a Ten watermark?
I heard about the review on TV Tonight. I am sure people who have watched the episode on Foxtel last night will know the answer.
I watched it last night but I didnât take any real notice. Does it really matter? They obviously donât watch these shows live anyway.

There was no Ten watermark. I wasnât aware Ten had run it but would be interested to know if they were disrespectful enough to have a âMasterchefâ watermark plastered on the screen during the airing.
I was looking for a watermark when the segment aired last night to see what Foxtel channel was running an older movie in letterbox format.
I think that a lot of the âclassic moviesâ that Gogglebox review are sourced from a DVD or maybe a Pay TV airingâŚ

Did we ever find out a reason for this? Seems odd
To avoid all those annoying ads on free to air and pay tv?

My guess is that so the producers can use something that doesnât have any station watermarks/advertising.
Possibly it helps the Goggleboxers who can watch the movie in a shorter period without the adverts.

On tonightâs show, I think for the first time, a program was introduced but as it got underway the Goggleboxers said they didnât want to watch and âchanged the channelâ. Anyway, thatâs how it was presented as happening

The first episode of one of this weekâs new shows was introduced on the show but the Goggleboxers said they didnât want to watch and were presented as if they changed the channel to another show that was then introduced.
I think they missed an opportunity with Home & Away last week featuring one of the teen characters getting an abortion. It would have made for an interesting discussion among the Goggleboxers.
I think it was House Rules that they didnât want to watch⌠everyone was like not another renovation show change it. I thought it was odd as clearly they are given the shows to watch. Either they watched it and nobody liked it so they edited it that way or they were asked to do that.
Maybe they had a choice of two shows to watch at that moment and they all chose the other program so that it looked like they were all rejecting yet another reno showâŚ
Yeah havenât seen that before. Channel 7 wonât be happy. Good to see people are sick and tired of the sob stories.
What do people think of the new Goggleboxers? I like the Asians. That old woman doesnât offer much
Iâm the opposite. I like the new family with the older lady, but I donât tihnk the asians really add anything to the show. We already have enough female pairs commenting.
I like the new goggleboxers. I think producers need to think of removing some more of the goggleboxers and replace them with new ones though. I think the one thing the UK does well is constantly changing the goggleboxers. I noticed some of them are getting a bit âbig for their bootsâ which will become a turn off. Anastasia (I think) is the one getting very big for her boots. So are the two boys.
