Seven showed a ‘breaking news’ update that slotted into a break between programs around 12:30pm over one hour after the media conference.
Nine did not cover the news until 3pm. Meanwhile they ran multiple promos telling us how good they are with breaking news.

Amazing that all almost 400 Airbus passengers escaped as it collided with a coastguard plane on landing. A whole loss of the Airbus 350. Near folling coverage on cable news channels earlier. 5 died on the smaller aircraft.

Any sign of any special coverage of the Danish abdication/coronation/handover/whatever it is (for obvious reasons). I think it’ll be like 10pm on Sunday our time?
SBS and 7 covered Frederick and Mary’s wedding at the time.

Surprisingly, ABC News channel is showing it too. Admittedly the coverage on both Sky and ABC is pretty ordinary, so I’m watching the DR live stream while listening to the commentary on BBC News.
