Nine has really let their guard down the last few months. Another instance of no news updates with The Block on - perfect opportunity to get eyes on the brand.

I feel like it was the complete opposite a couple of years ago. Nine Melbourne were generally more on top of this sort of breaking news compared to Seven Melbourne. Interesting how things have changed.

Confirmed by vicpol just now, although 6yi boy has died and the 3yo taken to RCH ICU. ABC only ones taking the press conference live it seems.

Read as breaking news by Tamara after the first ( rather lengthy) report on the fire fighter plane crash in Qld and the Victorian connection and another unrelated death in Stawell.

Surprised they didn’t have anyone on the scene by the end of the bulletin given the proximity to the Ballarat bureau.

Not sure when the news channel picked it up .

That account appears to be very anti motor vehicle, would take those musings with a grain of salt whilst he pushes his agenda on the back of this tragedy.

There’s a time and a place for a conversation about the massive SUVs and pickup trucks that have taken over our roads, and this is neither. A tragedy is no time to push one’s own agenda.
