GB News Channel

Such a bland set and mismatched graphics. At least the title card looks okay.

looks like the set is someones basement. I’m waiting on his mum to come down and do his laundry

Good grief those graphics are absolutely horrendous! Classic Angelos…

The ticker and lower thirds are too big but maybe that is done on purpose.

assume it’s to cater for people watching on their phones, or people just passing.

I’m wondering whether its to suit those watching on mobile devices

Visually apart from the size of the graphics, it doesn’t look too bad (graphic-wise).

Too bad the studio is like a dungeon.

It all looks very cheaply done, especially the studios.

Its all quite dark compared to what we are used to in Aus especially but I think in one of the tours they mentioned something about a video wall set so perhaps in the coming days/hours we will see this on air.

It will be interesting to see what their day-time coverage looks like and whether its a bit more vibrant

Fox News began in a basement studio, maybe they are taking inspiration from that. If Fox has taught us anything, the appearance of a channel has no bearing on its success. As long as there are blonde women showing their legs.

It’s like watching paint dry… presentation is just so dull.

That really looks pathetically boring. So dark for a breakfast show.

Meanwhile, Dan Barratt’s newsletter included this link, which was an interesting read:

It’s almost like they have forgotten that television is a visual communication medium…

I give it a year.

Almost makes Ticker look like a proper news channel.
