From what I’ve seen, content is actually not that bad (daytime program I watched live was pretty good) but lighting is atrocious, graphics are terrible & the sound keeps cutting out.
Both times I watched them go to the weather they were playing way-too-loud music, which the weather guy even mentioned - “just turn that down please” or something like that.
GB News just has that taste of community television all over it. Not what you want from a multi-million pound investment

And they’ve just allowed a guest to spout COVID misinformation completely unchallenged. If they’re starting with that sort of content now, they’d better have left some of that £60,000,000 to pay Ofcom penalties.
It also seems that some advertisers weren’t aware of where their ads were appearing on GBN, and are now becoming a bit uneasy about it.

Given its political leanings it would seem to fit.
The last renumbering of channels seemed to leave room for another UK based news channel

605 - (empty)
606 - BBC World News

Good. Misinformation has never been so prevalent. If a news channel; for instance, GB News, were to present an argument about adverse reactions to vaccines unchallenged then advertisers should vacate.

Let’s make our bets now. How many months will this channel last?
It currently feels like something will break in a few days, and the channel will go off air forever because they can’t fix it.
Very poor planning and wrong decision making on this one. Usually a reflection on senior management.

Theres a pattern forming that none of these advertisers have specifically bought packages for GBN…
Although I recall similar claims from advertisers who had their ads shown on Sky News here

If you think the daytime content of GB News is good, how bad is the TV where you lot are! It’s the worst news channel I’ve ever seen. Over on TV Live Forum, we’ve mostly been ripping it to shreds over how bad it is.
Bit of a bold claim considering that he’s referring to the first edition of his main show. He’s meant to be having the Chancellor on his next show, but given all the issues they’ve had up to now, I’ll be surprised if we can hear anything he’s saying.
