Fox Sports

I still prefer Sky NZ’s sports lineup than the mixed bag in the UK and Australia.

Should be Fox Sports 1 to 7 or however many there are. It’s cleaner.

We dont need Fox League/Footy in the off-season. Having non-football content on these channels would reduce the need for multiple “Fox Sports More” channels in Summer.

I don’t mind the idea of the channels being themed (either directly like they do in the UK, or loosely like what happens here) - but they don’t need to be so rigid. Sky Sports UK have replaced their F1 channel with Darts during the F1 offseason.

As I said in the Foxtel thread…can we just call it Kayo and not DAZN. Stupid name. Make DAZN use Kayo globally.

Who is going to make them?

Tbh when you look at the global tv rights Dazn have compared to Foxtel Dazn is by far the bigger name. I really think on a global scale Dazn is bigger.

Dont give a rats, still a stupid name.

Give it some time lol.

I’ve seen a bit of DAZN, the name still gives me the shits.

Soinds like a bit of corporate wankery.

I dare say Foxtel/Kayo have worked out that it is better to have Fox League and Fox Footy all year round. There are a lot of NRL and AFL sickos.

They could put those channels into automated mode over the summer, just play last seasons games 1 after the other, throw in some classics and some docos for good measure. As you’ve said, there are some sickos out there.

It’s hardly like Foxtel are running out of spectrum at this point.

Here’s an idea… morph Fox Footy with Fox Cricket!

Woah, it’s almost like they do that already…

You never know, they could’ve put someone on because NRL players do dumb crap, etc…

Fox Sports and Kayo will show the launch event of TGL indoor golf league, live from Sofi Centre at Palm Beach State College in Florida, next Wednesday (January 8) at 1pm AEDT. They will take ESPN’s broadcast.

Where’s the fun in that? The wind and other factors make golf unpredictable. Needs more hurricane level winds and random alligators.

Recently Fox Sports had a requirement to completely refit, refurbish or replace an aging hard set in their second largest studio. After a comprehensive assessment process, the decision was made to completely replace the set with the largest LED screen ever installed at the sports broadcaster. For that solution they turned to Magna Systems and their screen specialist installation partners PCB Digital.

… one of the main challenges for Fox Sports wasn’t around the size and scope of the wall but the installation timeline, as it had been decided to use the new screen for two of the biggest sporting events of the year – the NRL Grand Finals and the Big Bash League cricket.
