I noticed in the Foxtel app that one of the Foxsports channels has changed (I think it’s 505) to a dedicated netball world cup channel. Does Fox Sports have exclusive rights to this?
Semi Finals and Final are on SBS Viceland, but outside that exclusive to Fox Sports (Diamonds games are also on Kayo Freebies).
Fox Sports 505 was the designated British Open channel last week, including live telecast and replays of each day’s play from Sky Sports.
There is an existing thread in MS for continuing discussion of Foxtel’s netball coverage, including the upcoming World Cup.
Fox Sports has switched MotoGP commentary teams mid-season. Prior to now and for at least the past several years they have taken the MotoGP World Feed commentators. From this weekend, they have switched to the British TNT Sports (formerly BT Sport) commentary feed.
And they’ve switched back to the MotoGP World Feed today. A lot of the feedback online was negative but thought it wasn’t that bad myself.
Edit: Would appear that this was due to TNT not having their own commentary for Moto2 and Moto3 third practice. Back to the TNT commentary now and Fox are taking their full programme today including pre show.
Would it have anything to do with the netball World Cup? Looks like they are using the same studio space as Moto GP would. Perhaps cost cutting while netball was underway?
Wouldn’t think so given they’ve quietly dropped the studio coverage altogether this year.
Kayo gave option for Moto GP World Feed or BT Sports for replays of last round. No idea what is going on.
Kayo Sports is pulling out all the stops. The platform is set to air more than 40 hours of live coverage, promising its audience an intense immersion in the great race. To ensure fans miss nothing, Kayo has introduced five live streams for the qualifying rounds, shootout, and the main event.
Enhancing the viewing experience further, fans are granted the unique opportunity to have in-car viewing options. These are inclusive of dedicated streams for Chevrolet Camaro and Ford Mustang drivers. Enthusiasts can switch between teams throughout the day, offering a front-row seat to the action from both camps.
Still not in 4k again.
It’s too big of an event to run in 4K logistically.
They have done it in the past but it has only ever been a mix of 4k and hd cameras.
I’m sure they’d have but given how large Bathurst is (particularly with the height difference between top and bottom), would there be enough 4K-capable OB vans about to cover it all? Probably not surprised to learn that it was only ever a mix at best.
A slight refresh of graphics on Fox Sports News, no more cubed FSN logo, the new watermark looks washed out
It took them a while to update it!
Tbh i dont even know why they bother with the fsn channel now. They should just turn it in to another sports channel then launch a Fox sports news program that runs everyday. Basically what they do now.
Cheap easy content.
Finally! Looks good. That bug needs to lose the gradient though.
