Argh. I never said that he should. Or even hinted that he would. I doubt he cares about cricket, less alone the T20 World Championships.
And even if he did do something, this would surely be one of his least ethically questionable ethically questionable moves.
Well if he doesn’t step in, we’re stuffed. Australia is the only cricketing country without a broadcaster for the ICC World T20.
Fox Sports seem to hate cricket these days ever since they were forced to give up cricket rights in Australia and Ashes in England.

If Fox Sports hated cricket it would not have bought the rights to the recent Australian tour of New Zealand and also the Aussies’ upcoming Twenty20 international series in South Africa.
True, but they might already have had these rights for ages. Will Fox Sports renew their rights with the various international cricket boards when they expire?

Sky TV NZ is taking Fox’s NRL feed (including preview) rather than Nine’s.
No clean feed. Fox using nine’s graphics.

Nine is filming it and producing it. I suspect one of the conditions they would only provide a dirty feed to Fox.

No pop up ads and no promos for Nine shows during play on Fox is a big plus for me.
More important for me as well is the commentary team for Fox Sport. Will still have to listen to the sound from ABC Radio for the few exclusive games that Nine has.
I’d rather listen to Rabs, Gus and Sterlo over Voss and boring Greg Alexander any day of the week, ads or no ads.
