Fox should just tell people the Grand Final is on Seven.
Theyâre hardly going to promote a rival network (unless Seven paid for the privilege).
Why not just show the Seven broadcast, ads and all?
It would probably affect Sevenâs ratings.
Yeah thatâs the reason why it is only on 7
In this particular circumstance, theyâre not really a rival. Would Fox Footy rather people watch their static screen?

Nick Riewoldt to join the FOX FOOTY team ahead of 2018 season
Another key forward to join Dunstall, Lynch, Mooney, Pavlich and Brereton
Interesting, I thought Nick Riewoldt would have joined Seven instead.
Garry Lyon has left the Nine Network to join Fox Footy from next year
Great coup for Fox Footy, no doubt Lyon will provide special comments on weekend matches if he is not working for SEN.
Garry works for SEN or has that changed too?
Heâll still be at SEN
Yes Iâm aware, was more suggesting he isnât at Triple M. Heâll continue doing Fri 6-11 on SEN along with Breakfast.
Is Gerard Healy is still going to host On The Couch, or is Lyon going to take over?
No confirmation at this stage although there has been rumours that the show might move from its Monday night slot
Sunday Herald Sun reports former St Kilda great Leigh Montagna has joined Fox Footyâs AFLW commentary team for 2018, alongside premiership player and last seasonâs best and fairest winner Erin Phillips (when she is not playing for the Crows). Montagna is expected to provide commentary for the JLT pre-season series before switching to Triple M for the home and away season.

AFLW season launches on FOX FOOTY bigger and better in 2018.
The network will also welcome Adelaide Crows marquee player and 2017 AFLW best and fairest winner Erin Phillips to the team, further cementing FOX FOOTY as the best team in the business.
The highly accolated premiership player will bring her expert knowledge and zest for the game to her role on the panel of Womenâs Footy on FOX, which returns with a revolving forum of big-name guests.
âI canât wait to have a front-seat view of all the AFLW action on and off the field. Iâm in such a fortunate position to be a part of two teams this season â playing for the Crows, as well as joining another group of footy experts at FOX FOOTY.
In its second year, AFLW is going to be even bigger â the skills have improved and Iâm looking forward to chatting about the ins and outs of each player and their teamsâ, said Phillips.
Boosting the AFLW expert team are current AFLW players; All-Australian and Melbourne defender Mel Hickey, and Carlton vice-captain and midfielder Lauren Arnell.
Renowned sports presenter Kelli Underwood will host Womenâs Footy of FOX, alongside FOX FOOTYâS Kate Sheahan and Leigh Montagna. The seven week series begins on Monday 5th February.
Game days will be hosted by Sarah Jones, who will be joined by Underwood and FOX SPORTSâ Neroli Meadows, who will lead all the action on the boundary. AFL greats Brad Johnson, Alastair Lynch, Ben Dixon, and Paul Hasleby will add special insight, as well as one of the best callerâs in the business Anthony Hudson, who will be integral to game day with Montagna.
Rounding out the FOX FOOTY AFLW commentary team will be Adam Papalia, Chyloe Kurdas, Paul Hasleby, Sam Hargreaves, Katherine Loughnan, Natalie Yoannidis, Tania Armstrong, Ben Waterworth, Sarah Olle, and Anna Harrington.
Womenâs Footy on FOX begins Monday 5th February at 7.30pm.
FOX FOOTY remains the only network to watch every game, of every round LIVE with no ad-breaks siren to siren, all in the one place.
Fox Footy has made two changes to the On the Couch panel, with Paul Roos and Garry Lyon replacing Jason Dunstall and David King. Roos has previously been part of the show before being appointed Melbourne coach in 2014.
