Basically a whole bunch of cameras around the ground to give a 360 degree capture. They were using it to criticize the batsmen’s technique. I’m sure Nine were doing something like that on their cricket coverage for a while.
Something they need to fix. One batsmen didn’t get Daddles for some reason. That graphic should be hard-coded for any batsmen who gets 0.

Someone seems to roll it out every couple of years and pretend it’s a new innovation.
It’s actually pretty great as long as you pair it with a competent analyst like O’Keeffe.

No sign of Isa Guha so far this summer, which is a tad surprising given how she had been promoted as one of the stars of the Fox coverage over the last few years. Also disappointed that they have chosen not to have Ian Smith involved this season. What with Warner front and centre, there’s not much going for the Fox coverage for mine.

Surely it’s time to ditch the duck
except they use the same stats system as CA and 7 (the cricket analyst) and use the same data feed as well… all thats different is that there own people are interpreting what is already displayed in a GUI

Fox Cricket’s score bug graphics have been down for most of the second session so far

That’s probably why the camera (on 7’s coverage) shows the grounds scoreboard a lot because Fox need to show that to update the score

Fox have been using a little bottom right corner bug for the score and overs but even that seems to be gone now.

Looks like the info part under the batters scores is stuck on default text.

They said in commentary they’re having problem with the ticker.

Yeah and at the moment the only graphic on screen is the Channel logo in the top right corner

Tell you what, this whole ‘in-house graphics’ thing is working great for Fox.

Genuinely embarassing they are still using it. Lowers the tone and quality of the broadcast.
