They have mixed up the order a tad for today, as they had Bhogle, Hussey and Border to close out the first session, and it’s Shastri, Gilchrist and Lee for the initial stint post-lunch.
I don’t see the problem with the duck.
Neither, but some members do and wanted to gauge who did and didn’t
Yep me too. I grew up with daddles. He can stay.
I do notice that Kayo has dropped the 4k feed down to 15.5mbps from 18mbps. Still looks good just like Vegas F1 but wouldn’t want them to drop it anymore.
The flying Fox not exclusive to Fox this summer? Earlier today, Tim Lane mentioned on 7’s coverage that the Flying Fox is now part of their coverage
It would reduce costs considerably if both fox and 7 could use the same feed for footage shown, rather than have simultaneous production of two feeds.
Did he refer to it as the flying fox?
No, they are using Toyota Spidercam instead.
Fox Cricket will show the two-day Indian Premier League player auction, live from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Day 1 is on channel 505 at 9pm AEDT, day 2 is on channel 501 tomorrow (Monday) at 9pm AEDT.
AB’s commentary has been very good today: insightful and funny. Hope he covers more Tests this summer. Absolute legend.
Despite the presence of Warner, been drawn to Fox’s coverage over 7 so far this Test, which was seldom the case in previous years.
On a separate note, re: Ian Smith, he’s commentating on NZ radio for the England series, so won’t be available for Fox till Boxing Day arguably.
I think 7 having to use Hayden more with Ponting at the IPL has made 7 a bit worse than last year
I hope Fox call him in, I really enjoy when he calls.
Looks like Fox will have their own commentary & graphics for the WBBL finals series instead of using 7’s feed or using 7’s feed with Fox graphics
Fox is back to using 7’s graphics but their commentary. I just don’t understand why they keep switching between the 2. I’m going to assume that they will be using their Fox graphics for the Women’s Ashes since it’s a big series
On Day 3 of the Test Match (Sunday) the Fox Cricket experts will go head-to-head against a team of All-Stars live as part of the “Kayo Clash” during the Big Break Show, hosted by Mark Howard.
The Kayo Clash will be a two-over scramble per side and will take place in the practice nets at Adelaide Oval with media and fans invited to attend from 4.30pm local time.
The All-Stars team will include Connor Rozee (Port Adelaide), Lachie Murphy (Adelaide Crows), Sam Goodman (No Limit Boxing), Hannah Petty (Thunderbirds), Marmalade (Influencers), Sharon Johal (The Twelve – Season Two on BINGE) along with representatives from the Woolworths Blast Cricket Program.
I’m again predictably struck by a sense that the coverage is constrained by the commentary talent stretched thin across two broadcasters. If there wasn’t a simulcast deal, reckon a team of Mitchell, Nicholson, Guha, Shastri, Bhogle, Copeland, Blewett, Finch, Gilchrist, and Ponting would be clearly the best in the business globally. As it stands, having to channel hop whenever an annoying commentator is on air, which is often.
I’ve stayed on 7 so i can avoid Warner.
