Now there has some form of a technical difficulty, with Vaughan (assuming the role of lead caller) and Hussey (both being at the ground) continuing in the absence of Mark Howard (presumably in a Melbourne studio).
EDIT: Brendon Julian has come on now to replace Howard.
Sky Sports, the English cricket broadcasters, warned Fox Sports from their own chaotic experiences last year, to split up their commentary and production teams so that if infection infiltrated one team, the other would be ready to go.
Haven’t seen how it went down on the Fox coverage but on Seven it was perfectly audible when Broad stopped and yelled to “stop moving the robot”. Seven coverage then zoomed in on the Fox Rover as the culprit for Broad’s frustrations and Tim Lane mentioned about the host broadcaster’s equipment.
Is there a clip of that?
The Fox commentators just made jokes about myself, as though the rover was a naughty dog (the clique ‘bad rover’, ‘back to the shed’, etc.) and talked about how it shouldn’t have been an issue for Broad, given it is 100 meters away and out of the eyeline (or so was thought).
Shane Warne just mentioned Kerry O’Keefe, saying “Hope you get better Skull”, which would explain his absence from the Test, and would also explain the fact that this coverage has been quite bearable (although would be better with Isa).

this probably suggest that Isa Guha might be involved with Women’s Ashes. Probably doing studio things for Fox since I assume that 7 will be the world feed providing commentary and Fox will be just taking that, similar to what they have done in other women’s matches
