The 1st T20 between England and the West Indies is scheduled for Sunday morning, but it doesn’t appear as if Fox are showing the series. It’s a bit strange given that they broadcasted the West Indies - Pakistan series last August.

The pre game show today was cancelled (replay of the Pat Cummins special), and it’s just Brenton Speed and Isa Guha commentating, not seen on screen.
Has someone at Fox Sports Sydney tested positive? I’m assuming they were covering the first game today from the studio, before Melbourne covers the next two from the G.

It was listed on Kayo as starting at 1pm, so there might not have been a pre-show anyway? Surely they can do something with the camera in the ‘comms-box’.
1pm was the scheduled start time for the 1st innings coverage, but 12.30 was listed for the pre-game as a separately coded program.

I’ve noticed even with staff shortages at times this season Fox have always had their own commentary/graphics for every game.
I know in past seasons there’s be up to a dozen or so games where they’d take the Seven commentary and graphics and only do wrap around coverage pre game/between innings/post game.
It’s better though as it’s made the coverage feel more consistent than previous years.

Why aren’t Fox showing the start of the Renegades match?
Normally they’d put an overlapping game on 503 but they only picked things up in the 4th over after the Heat game finished.
The start of that match was on channel 505.

I must’ve missed it as the EPG wasn’t displaying that. They need to put a watermark on the screen like they do with the AFL encouraging people to switch.
I just watched on 7 instead for a while until 501 switched over.
The notice on top right flashed up several times, as well as the commentators mentioning multiple times that the match had begun on 505…
