Also, why are they in studio when the game is in Melbourne? Surely they should just be at the ground!
It’s hard to tell. 99% sure it’s the same studio, because they were using the Lab screen to the right hand side of the desk area.
The desk isn’t the current 360 desk, but might be an old one?
I think you’re right, it’s the right hand corner of the studio Fox Cricket are using with a different desk.
This video might help you identify the Fox Footy studio layouts better:

Yep, I don’t see it in the guide anywhere. What the hell?
When is this on?
I’m actually not sure what the situation with rights for West Indies home series is. Fox had to do a late deal to show the Australian tour last year but there is no sign that it was a long-term deal or included anything else.
Considering they don’t even have any reports of the game on the Fox Sports web site that I can see, it sounds like “not showing it” was what was expected, at their end at least.
It may not matter much in the end, the second ODI’s been postponed due to Covid issues and although they’d be trying to play the other games, you’d think they’d be in some sort of doubt.
Who are the commentators in this clip? I know that Brendon Julian is there, and is it Greg Blewett who calls the first wicket, although I’m not sure? And who is the other caller?
Also, you can see the duck animation at 2:22.
Tom Moody
Is that the other caller (heard at 3:22)?
Is there something wrong with this camera at today’s BBL match?
Seems very out of focus to me, compared with the rest of the camera angles:
Reminds me of a camo I knew once whose eyes weren’t quite right and he would focus shots so they looked right to him, which made them slightly out of focus for everyone else. I wonder where he is today? Maybe you just found him.
Who’s the female FSN presenter? She is the MC for the fifth Ashes Test in Hobart.
Looks like Alissa Smith
Are all of Fox team in Hobart? Because seems like most of 7’s are in the studio except for Mel, Botham, McGrath & Katich
It seems most of Fox’s are in Hobart, yes.
There probably isn’t enough room for everybody so only one broadcaster sends the comms?
No there is now after the recent upgrades. Just personal choice. Seven obviously want the security that comes with being in Melbourne.
Noticed a difference in mic level when Brendon Julian, Mark Waugh et al took over, perhaps they are off-site?
I think that Brendon Julian, Brett Lee and Mark Waugh are in a studio in Sydney.
And how quick they handed over too.
