McGuire is sounding more like sam Newman every day and can hardly stay on topic. Sloane is just a yes person and has no opinion. And Tom Morris is just insufferable

Tonight Footy Classified is LIVE from 8.40pm AEST with James Hird on news Essendon’s President has stood down, plus former Port Adelaide coach Ken Hinkley for his take on the Grand Final.

This year all AFL programs on Nine have seen positive growth compared to last year, with Footy Classified – Monday recording the highest Total TV Audience with 203,000 viewers (up 28.8% year on year) with the new team of Sam McClure, Matthew Lloyd, Damian Barrett and Jimmy Bartel.

Footy Classified – Tuesday’s panel of Eddie McGuire, James Hird, Tom Morris and Rory Sloane has also enjoyed substantial Total TV audience growth, up by 39.6% compared to the Wednesday program last year.

These figures have cemented Footy Classified as Monday and Tuesday’s top rated AFL program of the night across all networks.

I thought 7 claimed their Tuesday show was the ratings winner? From June 18th: Who is winning Australia's own "Monday Night War" - SportsIndustryAU Tuesday nights, the upstart Agenda Setters are beating Footy Classified with an average audience of 167,000k to 154,000.

For a show in its first year I think agenda setters did well. The egos at footy classified turned me off this year.

That tracks with my viewing - can cope with the Monday show, but don’t bother on Tuesday. They should move it back to Wednesday so there’s enough time for something to happen, and ditch Tom Morris.

Really good episode last night. Eddie shut his mouth and lets James Hird ask questions. It had a lot of guests as well which I think helped the show flow better. Ken Hinkley should be given a full time role in media next year if he isn’t at a club.
