8:45 PM tonight in Melbourne.
Gosh I hate the Wednesday addition. Hird is so out of touch trying to suggest taunts on family is worse than calling someone a faggot. McGuire is sounding more like sam Newman every day and can hardly stay on topic. Sloane is just a yes person and has no opinion. And Tom Morris is just insufferable
You mean Tuesday show? I donât think they do Wednesday
Yeah thatâs the one
Tonight is the last Monday Footy Classified (McClure, Bartel, Barrett and Lloyd) given the Brownlow is on next week.
The final Closing Cook was another crack at âScoop no friendsâ ![]()
Tonight
Footy Classified did pretty well to fend off a challenge from The Agenda Setters.
It did well on Monday. Tuesday seems to be conflicting numbers.
For a show in its first year I think agenda setters did well. The egos at footy classified turned me off this year.
That tracks with my viewing - can cope with the Monday show, but donât bother on Tuesday. They should move it back to Wednesday so thereâs enough time for something to happen, and ditch Tom Morris.
I bet the parameters are different. One is probably national vs metro.
Really good episode last night. Eddie shut his mouth and lets James Hird ask questions. It had a lot of guests as well which I think helped the show flow better. Ken Hinkley should be given a full time role in media next year if he isnât at a club.
2026
The hard-hitting Footy Classified returns to set the agenda for the 2026 AFL season. Tune in to the codeâs best breaking-news and analysis program every Monday and Tuesday night.
Big loss for 9âs footy shows and 9news. He was their main reporter for all things AFL.
I watched more 7 because the homophobe wasnât on 7.
Superb news.
Herald Sunâs Confidential column reports that Nineâs executive producer of AFL, Matt Conway, is a casualty of the companyâs current round of job cuts. Matt is the husband of Nine reporter Justine Conway.
Seems to follow the train of thought in the TVBlackbox article that Sydney just doesnât get Melbourne and the AFL.
Probably ends up at Seven or Fox then?
