Get ready to pick up the phone and donate to a great cause when the annual Footy Show Grand Final: My Room Telethon returns on Thursday at 7.30pm on Channel 9 and 9Now.
Hosted by Eddie McGuire, joined by 9News Melbourne anchor Alicia Loxley, the Telethon raises money critical for kids fighting cancer and the My Room Children’s Cancer Charity.
This year’s Telethon features a live performance by one of Australia’s most popular singers, Vanessa Amorosi, and a guest appearance from children’s favourite, Emma Memma.
They will be joined by a star-studded lineup that includes some of the biggest names in the AFL, including players and My Room ambassadors Marcus Bontempelli, Patrick Cripps and Will Day.
This year, Australian Formula 1 star Oscar Piastri has also joined the My Room family as an ambassador and he’ll be sharing a special message during the show.
To help raise every possible dollar, viewers will have the chance to bid on a range of exclusive items in a silent auction. Get ready to go for rare and unique memorabilia from your favourite footy players, with all proceeds going directly to the My Room Children’s Cancer Charity.
The Telethon is a night full of laughs and feelgood stories, dedicated to making a difference to the lives of children with cancer and their families through the call centre service made possible by Probe CX.
