Five Bedrooms

By the time season 2 comes to Paramount+ on August 11, it will have been 13 months since filming wrapped up.

I think it should have premiered on 10 on Wednesday nights once the current season of Bull finishes (expected in late May), to take advantage of the MasterChef lead-in.

I’d argue The Bachelor will provide a bigger lead in ratings wise and in demos on Wednesdays later in the year.

But then it will be in direct competition with Doctor Doctor. Maybe Tuesday after How To Stay Married ends.

Oops I forgot about Doctor Doctor. Tuesday is not a bad timeslot either.

I think launching this on a steaming service is a good idea. It will make me join paramount

Sorry if this has been mentioned already but with Five Bedrooms going to Paramount+ will 10 still get a chance to air this at a later date or is this a Paramount+ exclusive now?

From what it reads it will still air on 10. But first on paramount

good show, but not enough for me to sign up. Will wait till it gets a FTA run, eventually.

I’m sure I will be able to watch it all during the free trial

Sure. Just remember to shower every day and leave the house on occasions for fresh air. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

I’ll just work from home for a week :joy:

Shows like Rake aired on the ABC every second year, and that worked out well. I know Ten wanted Five Bedrooms to air last year, but didnt because of the virus. I’ll be looking forward to it when Five Bedrooms finally airs on Ten. I prefer if shows aired the first episode on FTA first, then the remaining on streaming sites.

It’s a shame. Doesn’t sound like it will be on 10 based on Michael Lucas’ tweet today

I thought this part was particular interesting

Maybe companion shorts?

Possibly, 10 usually do that with most series but I don’t believe they did for this and haven’t seen another for the new series of How to Stay Married.

I think it’s just allusion to a Season 3 there was a post above in this thread that indicated it had received funding for a S3.

I will probably subscribe to Paramount+ to watch this but doubt I’d remain a subscriber longer term. I’m reaching my limit now that I’m on Netflix, Stan, Disney and Binge.

Unfortunately, if this article is anything to go by, it won’t air on 10 at all.

It’s a good show but not sure if it’s compelling enough on its own to draw subscribers.

And with goes good content post reality tent poles. 10 is just a dumping ground for shitty procedurals from the US that don’t rate.

10 are seriously nuts.
