Well done to all in getting this completed this year.
Credit to everyone involved. Look forward to watching it.

I can’t wait! Wonder how far off it will be from airing - I’d imagine the first 4 episodes are in the can with post prod having been completed so it’s just the back half of the season now requiring editing?

I hope it airs soon. Season One was great. I don’t know how long post-production takes though.

Will see how season two turns out

This is how Peacock promotes Five Bedrooms in the US. Not sure why Peacock claims the drama as its original given it is imported from Australia.

Probably has to do with rights. For example Riverdale is classified as a Netflix original in all countries outside of the US.

Netflix markets all Australian content as Netflix Originals In the us

Even yummy mummies and Kath & Kim And instant hotel and the code and secret city etc

Announced at 10’s upfronts today that season 2 won’t be shown until next year, more than six months after filming was completed.

I assumed that would be the case, with ratings finishing in 4-6 weeks. When was the last season shown? Was that in 2019?

Season 1 premiered on May 15 last year.

This is great news. My favourite new drama last year.

Was actually thinking whether shows would start be giving 2 season orders and filmed back to back due to costs etc.

No mention of exactly when (I’d tip following MasterChef), but returning to Wednesday nights. From TVTonight:

A new season of Five Bedrooms is set for Wednesdays and picks up from the house sale ending S1.

“They do find a new house – spoiler alert- but the finding of the house is less of a storyline given how much they covered it in Series One. series. It’s more about the progression of the individual relationships moving forward, rather than retreading the same old ground,” he observes.

“I actually think the second series is a step up. Having seen the whole thing, it’s such a nice, warm and very funny show. I can’t wait for people to see it.”

Great news. Good to see Ten believing in the show and proceeding to a third season already.

Am also happy that Ten believe in this show to film and film a third season.

Assuming the second season will air after Easter? As we haven’t heard of an air date yet?

I don’t know if it is because they ‘believe’ in the show. It would have more to do with the funding that is currently available.

Correct, and it would likely be the producers applying for the funding.

Season 2 to premiere exclusively on Paramount +
