So sad that Adelaide can’t get a dedicated overnight program. If they’re going to play best bits, at least take a networked show.
They’re giving too much audience away to the ABC and Triple M.

They could just take the 3AW overnight show live and have the hourly news on the half hour.

From what I’ve read on Facebook groups, quite a few people have moved across to the ABC, 3AW and other streaming. This goes for Jeremys show not just overnight

This is a good move, I like Jeremy but the timing is probably right. I always like Matt on the radio but thought he might take over from Leon which I guess could still happen.
I am surprised Jeremy is doing weekends, which I presume will still include gardening and all the usual segments but he won’t panel the sports show.
Hopefully this time next year it might Pilko moving out for Leith or Paul Richards.

Dave Howard was doing weekend breakfast after Leith Forrest moved to the sports show to panel for Rowey. Dave is another under rated and used announcer, he also deserves a permanent spot he’s very popular.
As for Jeremy he requested to move, likely due to wanting less hours as he’s 75

Agree, great talent.
Whilst Nova owns AA and squeezes every cost saving out of it, will always be difficult to build knowledge of such talent as they’re not prepared to market the station.
Interesting on FiveAA this morning. Matt Pantallis and Tom Rehn we’re hosting the breakfast show but Pantallis also read the news and Rehn read the sport every half an hour. Not sure if it was planned or not.

Matt Pantelis started tonight on nights, Jeremy has been in the studio co hosting and saying he will leave but it’s like he’s had second thoughts of leaving and trying to hold on to the night show

Matt has been good from the bits I have heard. Not sure how Jeremy will go on weekend mornings, maybe the content will change a bit.
It seems with the Sports Show Leith Forrest and Sam Tugwell have a fairly big on air role.

Sean Fewster will host a regular Sunday night show looking at the Court System and analysing some of the major Crimes throughout the states history.

A sad & unfortunate end to a long broadcasting career for Jeremy Cordeaux:
Nova, without Paul Thompson’s leadership are a far weaker company when they are that jittery to discontinue the services of Peter Ford who disagreed with Jeremy and actually supported Higgins.

I’m not a great fan of Peter Ford on Twitter but I think it’s unfair if he defended Ms Higgins but then still lost this role at 5AA.
