I don’t think it’s been announced, but it looks like CMT will be added to Fetch on channel 239.
This is good news, I know they’ve been trying to get Disney etc on for ages with no luck. This should help.
Theatre and TV star Amanda Harrison (currently in Neighbours) features in the latest Fetch TV commercial.
Still having major problems with my Fetch and the HDMI. It’s like it can’t handle being connected to a full HD LCD. It just drops in and out the whole time. I’ve literally had the box on standby all day and have gone to start watching the news and almost instantly is blacking in and out. Such a shit investment.
Are you using the latest/correct HDMI cable? Not sure of technicalities. I was using an old one which was giving me grief. Bought a new one and haven’t had any problems since.
I’m using the white one it came with. Is that a no no?
The new UI has slowed down the responsiveness on my mini, it wasn’t great to start with
You’d think that would be alright then. How old is your TV?
8 months old.
It’s not the TV. Stan, Netflix, Foxtel Go, Disney Plus all work fine in full HD.
You could try sending Fetch an email to troubleshoot the problem. I’ve found them to be very helpful when I had my troubles.
Okay thank you.
It’s so frustrating. I literally only use it to record News and Current Affairs nothing else so only using it like 90 mins a day.
Ridiculous how this keeps happening.
That would be frustrating. I record everything I watch on FTA (HD where available) and have no problems.
Have you tried playing around with the display resolution settings on the Fetch? I think I read somewhere (perhaps on Whirlpool?) about others having a similar problem and toggling through those settings fixed it. I think I have mine set to 1080p@50hz but not at home to check.
Yep. The blacking in and out suggests it’s trying to auto sense a compatible resolution and can’t lock it in. I’m not familiar with Fetch boxes, but you should be able to try manually setting your resolution.
It doesn’t stay on long enough for me to toggle lol.
Something definitely not right with it, there are options to force the resolution from the Fetch in the Audio and Video options in the settings. If there’s a way to force it on your TV first that might help so you can get into the settings. Could also be the cable but I’d imagine the one in the box would be a good enough quality but stranger things have happened. Either way, it’s definitely not a normal issue.
I managed to get in there. It was set to 720P so I changed it to 1080p. Let’s see how we go. Thanks again!
Didn’t work.
The menus have changed since I last went into them. Is the refresh rate under advanced settings set to 50Hz?
