Fetch TV

I can’t check. It’s completely dropped off now.

Also there’s a setting that forces HDMI 1.4. Maybe give that a try. My amp (very recent model) wouldn’t accept the HDMI 2.0 out of the Fetch box.

Fetch is now running a launch promo for CMT:

The issue with my Fetch still isn’t fixed. It’s extremely disappointing. A very expensive product that can’t even be viewed on a modern television. Garbage.

Contact your ISP and order a new one.

I bought retail. It won’t change a thing getting a new one. I’ve read that so many people have the same issue on the issues page but no one has a solution.

Since the software update my Fetch was having an intermittent HDMI problem, with an error message popping up. I discovered that the HDMI 2.2 on the Fetch isn’t compatible with the HDMI 2.0 on the television, though it was working fine before the update. Changing the resolution setting on the Fetch from Auto to 1080P fixed the problem. I tried it on 4K -2160P but that also caused a HDMI error.

My Samsung DVD hard drive has no trouble sending 4K to the television.

So you have it on 1080p @ 60Hz? And is your HDMI cable plugged into the ARC HDMI slot on the TV end or just a normal HDMI slot?

Should be 50 Hz

Any advice on an issue I have with all 10 and ABC channels thru the fetch box when it is windy. Perfect picture direct aerial to tv but include fetch in the picture and it’s like it’s streaming/freezing

Just sat down to watch my recording of Nine News. Couldn’t even get through the headlines before it started blacking out.

You could try joining this Facebook group and asking there if anyone else has the problem.

The specs say the Mighty upports UHD 3840 x 2160 resolution (4k) but I don’t know whether they have any 4k channels.

No, there are no channels on Fetch in 4k. There are selected ondemand apps that show 4k content (eg BBC Earth, Amazon Prime). You could ‘swap’ it for a mighty, but it will cost you more. The only difference is that you can record on a mighty, whereas you can’t on a mini.

ok . so im guessing fetch is all ondemand apps based?
