Thanks, I was leaning towards buying it outright, but wasn’t 100% sure.
The fact that the provider boxes can’t be reused if you cancel, is the reason I bought my Fetch TV outright.
Look for fetch Ebay page you can usually pick up cheaper boxes they are labelled as refurbished boxes but from all reports their is nothing wrong with them
Otherwise if you’re not in a rush, wait until Good Guys has (20)% off their ebay store.
The free access to news channels ended yesterday.
A new software release is coming. Selected users will have a chance to test it from next week.
What are some of the features?
- New look and feel across the whole system
- New TV Guide featuring:
- Reverse TV Guide functionality (access programs that were available up to 24 hours ago)
- Favourite Channel tool
- Integrated Search across all content
- Amazon Prime integration on Mighty and Mini
- New Channel Scanner and revamped Info Bar
How come the release notes below don’t mention half of this stuff?
I think what you’ve posted is from an old update.
Those release notes are for Litchfield 2.6. I have Litchfield 2.6.5 on my box now.
The info I posted above is from the email they sent out this week for selected users who want to test out the new features.
How do you get the new look
Had to sign up as a tester
Ok… looks good
I’ve been waiting to see if anybody here would get added, I was hoping I was. I signed up with both my boxes but haven’t had a change. Looks good. Looks a bit Foxtel like though.
That was my first thought - there are shades of Telstra TV there too
Does everyone have the update now? My other 2 boxes have now updated.
No. Is there a way to force an update?
No, my Mighty and Mini from Optus are yet to receive the update. I will go restart them now to see if they do.
Nup, still nothing.
our retail box is on 2.26.5 Litchfield
