When did all the massive pizza discounting stop? Looks like Domino’s and Pizza Hut are both back to selling pizzas at the prices they were before they started the slashing.
I wonder how many smaller places were killed in the process?

Look out for coupons, i get them every few weeks, at least for Dominos. Dominos is still selling value Pizzas for $5 here in Perth before 9pm, and the rest of their range for $7.45 at any time if you order online.
No pizza places near me have been harmed in the process of the discounting.
I reckon the pizzas aren’t as nice when you buy one with a coupon.
I did use a coupon once and I thought the pizza was a bit bare, a bit thin on the toppings.
Since then I’ve been paying the regular price, and never had an issue with toppings or anything else.
I think you mean fries not flies
I tried Lord of the Flies once. The chips tasted very captain-y.
cheese fries are the go to shitty, but cheap food! They actually taste really good after a big night out on the town! HJs just fills me up with less food then you’d need to eat at maccas
All-day breakfast has been available at McDonald’s for three months and many staff are complaining about their increased workload: article
It’s a job. You either get on the bus or seek excellence elsewhere. Plenty of other people who are looking for a job and would be grateful to serve meals to the general populous.
I always felt that a Whopper was more filling than a Quarter Pounder.
“Several employees are venting their frustration at increased workloads in busy kitchens without a pay rise, in a Reddit thread”
Stopped reading right there.
Reddit threads and twitter comments are not news.
Who are the dumbarses that actually pay for a Herald Sun subscription? You’d have to be seriously stupid.
I feel sorry for McDonalds workers in general, as the menu is so large these days it means they have to be on top of so many more different things (not just breakfast but a wider range of burgers, create your taste options etc). I find the wait time is a lot slower too. Now I very rarely have McDonalds so I notice the difference from a few months ago. I went in and got a create your taste on the weekend with a salad instead of fries and I waited 15 mins for the salad. They even eventually brought me out the burger and said the salad would come soon. My sister who works at a McDonalds said the salad instead of fries option is one of those things that so rarely ordered that often people don’t know what to do when it comes up!
Has anyone eaten that black zinger burger from KFC? Looks disgusting…but I’ll probably try one lol
What’s it got? I got a heap of emails from KFC last week telling me to wait out for something special and pictures of the box but underneath the little disclaimer “Not available in Tasmania”. No idea why it couldn’t be down here, it’s been a while since we’ve had to miss out on something like that… we do have KFC Zinger Fish burgers though.
I saw a strange ad from KFC on Sunday but did not realise what it was about until I saw Jordyn’s post. I think the reason black zinger burger is not available in Tasmania is the cost of transporting ingredients from the mainland (by ship or by air).
Black Zinger Buns? Isn’t that just leaving the bread out to go really mouldy?
No, it’s just dying the flour with a black colour additive
Has anyone had a gourmet sausage bread roll from the “Snag Stand”?
There’s only a few stores around (in Sydney, ACT and SEQLD) though.
I had a Wagyu Beef Haute Dog today, and it was VERRY nice!
