No issues at Carls Jr
To be fair they have hardly any restaurants compared to KFC, Subway etc.
Pizza Hut restaurant at Marion in Adelaide’s south will close permanently on June 28, after 44 years.
Red Rooster is too.
Oporto also using cabbage replacement on burgers. They have a sign up saying you can request that they leave it out.
How the hell can they think cabbage is a substitute for lettuce?! Just because they… look similar?
Disaster.
Pizza Hut was vowing to expand its buffet offering a few years ago - doesn’t seem to have followed through post COVID, although in this case it seems like they didn’t have a choice.
Agree, I don’t like the taste of cabbage at all, I quite like lettuce though.
I believe the Ballarat Pizza Hut is the last one still going in Victoria. The Bendigo and Shepparton restaurants closed over covid.
I can vouch for that pizza hat here in Ballarat is still going strong and sad to hear Bendigo has shut down though
Hopefully they’ve fixed the sign… last time I went past the it complex looked very run down.
It’s like going into a time warp through the 80/90s. Love it.
The dine in Pizza Hut at St Andrews (near Campbelltown) is still operational. Plus where I live, we do have an independent pizza shop that does Dine-in as well (without the buffet part)
Why am i thinking cricket when i see that logo?
whats with the wait times at GYG? is it normal to wait ages for your meal?
let me give two examples from the weekend. please bear in mind I’ve never had GYG until this weekend, but i happened to pass one, and as they are building one near my house i decided to give it ago and see what it is like before the new store opened.
first one i ordered online at about 10:25pm (store closed at 11) . took 15 mins in the drive though to even get to the window and another 5 to get my food – the website was saying my food would be available at 10:30. by the time i got to the window it was 10:45 and there only about 5 cars in front of me.
i thought this might be a once off, so this morning i ordered online at the city store and waited inside. the website said 8:40 pickup, but it was 8:47 when i got my food. i know 7 mins is not that long, but surely if you can’t rely on the timings they give you, they should not give them?
Anyone else noticing the abundant of new “Drive Through Starbucks” stores opening up around Melbourne and reginal areas?
Speaking of Starbucks any further news on the WA expansion?
No idea… they hardly existed on the east coast after the failed mid 2000s attempt at trying to enter the Australian market, now they seem to be rapidly expanding into drive through stores.
To my understanding it’s because the Australian operation is owned by 7/11 so they are building the drive thrus next to new 7/11 servos.
