Expect more competitions and basic limited time only menu items, the global fast food chains are currently obsessed with reducing drive-thru times due to increased utilisation during COVID which means they’re doing everything they can to not introduce additional ingredients or complex menu items.
If the WA trial is anything to go by, all-day-breakfast will also be scrapped nationally soon.

Yes, as a trial for now - if you do try and order breakfast items through the app / delivery partners it will advise that it’s not possible or the order is cancelled, and apparently WA is the trial state for scrapping all day breakfast items to determine whether or not it’s worthwhile doing nationwide.
Makes sense. By the time breakfast rolls around in WA, it’s already lunchtime.
Here in Hamilton KFC has just had a major Refurbishment ( Interesting the timing with OTR/Hungry Jacks meant to be open here at Christmas).
So nostalgic seeing the Kentucky Fried Chicken Brand above the doors.
I walked past a KFC in Kogarah Town Centre a couple of weeks ago and thought I was seeing things, when I saw a huge Kentucky Fried Chicken logo on the wall. Not sure if that’s a new store or a refurbished one because I don’t go there often.
Have they announced where this is being built yet?
KFC rebranded back to Kentucky Fried Chicken a couple years ago. Started with the packaging early on. It was quite surreal to see the old name back.
Where the old McMahon’s Bakery was on Coleraine Rd next to the CFA offices.

Back in the olden days when I was allowed to drive from Melbourne to Mt Gambier, I would go past that site and for months and months it never progressed! Is the one next to IGA still operating?
Yeah it is still operating mate.
They haven’t re-branded, their primary brand is still “KFC”, but they have started putting the full “Kentucky Fried Chicken” name above the door or in the front window of their refurbished locations for a bit of retro co-branding.

Fast food is meant to be fast, correct? When is it socially acceptable to start waiting impatiently for your order.
Tonight for example at KFC, I waited half an hour in store to receive my order after waiting 10 minutes to be served.
Do I have a right to be pissed off?
Yes you do but KFC is always slow it is like their staff are incapable of doing more than one thing at a time
Obviously the ‘F’ in KFC doesn’t stand for ‘fast’.
