Eurovision Song Contest

We’re basically equal 2nd in the latest betting odds now. Finland are still pretty strong favourites though. Funny thing with Finland, I absolutely loved it the first time I heard it, but like it slightly less with each listen.

You might have thought Israel’s public broadcaster had other priorities right now. But, here we are…

Noam Bettan - Michelle | Official Israeli entry | Eurovision Song Contest 2026

I think it will have the same effect that Dami did, the first impression on the audience will be more about Delta’s vocal capabilities rather than how catchy the song is. The song is simply there to lay a foundation for Delta’s vocals to shine.

I simply can’t believe there haven’t been calls for them to be banned (again) after this week.

Boy George is currently participating in the San Marino national final as a feature with Senhit

Senhit participated in 2021 with Flo Rida in Rotterdam

It’s the Kaarija/Joost/Baby Lasagna/Tommy Cash effect.

Delta Goodrem’s Eclipse film clip has been added to the playlist at Fitness First gyms today. That doesn’t usually happen with Eurovision tracks.

I must be the only person who finds the song really bland and forgettable.

No, there are a few. So you’re not alone. (Ps where do you live, :oncoming_fist::oncoming_fist::oncoming_fist: -jokes)

But as Bambie thug proved a few years ago, it doesn’t matter how many dont like your song or put it last, it need to be in the people who votes top 3 at the end of the day.

Look at France now, rockets into 2nd, but it is already divided strong opinions.

France often does this though. Their song gets a lot of hype and rockets up the betting odds, then it all just fizzles out when it actually comes to the competition itself.

Fredrik Rydman has been named as the stage director for the United Kingdom’s entry at the 2026 Eurovision Song Contest, working on the performance for Look Mum No Computer and his song “Eins, Zwei, Drei”. The appointment was confirmed as the UK released the song and accompanying music video, with the broadcaster saying Rydman will oversee the act’s creative staging in Vienna.

Rydman is a well known figure in Eurovision circles, with a track record for bold, theatrical presentations that marry choreography and visual storytelling. He first attracted international attention for co-devising the staging for Måns Zelmerlöw’s 2015 winning entry “Heroes”, and more recently has been credited with the staging of Nemo’s 2024 winning performance “The Code”.

The spineless EBU are too afraid of Israel calling them ‘antisemitic’ again every time they threaten to pull the plug.

Felicia will represent Sweden at this year’s Eurovision Song Contest with My System.

Finland’s and Sweden’s songs were locked in early pretty much, but Finland’s NF has more songs that that i like, than what is currently released for Eurovision so far.

does Boy George know about this?

The double standards between Russia and Israel are becoming more glaring by the day.

(To be clear, Russia AND Israel should be banned.)

Very mixed reaction to Sweden’s entry so far. It hasn’t really moved the dial much with their odds either. I don’t think it’s going to be Sweden’s year this year. Personally I can’t stand the song.

It’ll be like unforgettable. Streams really well and gets mid with juries and telvote to pull a top 10
