What is Eleven doing? Why do they keep chopping and changing their schedule?

Ten have revealed some upcoming first run titles for Eleven:

UPCOMING FIRST RUN TITLES: Supernatural, Charmed, Happy Together, 600 Bottles of Wine, Stage Mums.

Supernatural season 14 begins on the 11th October in the US, hopefully it’s fasttracked to Monday nights for Australian audiences.

Charmed - Assuming this is The CW reboot they will likely acquire through CBS Television Distribution which airs October 14th in the US.

Happy Together is a new 30 min comedy due to air on CBS from 1st October starring Damon Wayans Jr.

600 Bottles of Wine is the Australian online comedy-drama they picked up a month or 2 ago which is set to air as 4×18’ episodes and stream as 8×9’ on Tenplay which has already aired internationally on BBC Three and TVNZ On Demand.

Stage Mums is another online series they’ve acquired from the Gold Coast, there are 3 seasons so far. See an interview here of the creators/actors talking about the show on Today Extra about a year ago. It’s about 2 mums on a quest for their daughters to become famous.

When did they stop airing Mike and Molly part way through Season 3…?

Eleven will be showing the Charmed reboot close to the US airdate as they are advertising it as coming soon on their Facebook page. The trailer for it looks awful and like the cast has no chemistry with each other.

They are also trying way too hard to be edgy. The show is described as feminist centering on the charmed ones taking down the patriarchy. They have also cast two sisters which are Latino and a third that’s African Carrabean and of course one of the sisters is a lesbian.

Pretty much none of the fans of the original are happy about this reboot if social media is anything to go by. I can’t see this show getting the ratings or lasting half as long as the original did.

The Flash is coming soon to Monday’s on Eleven.

Will it start from the very first episode? Foxtel has already shown four seasons of The Flash.

Yes.

Already on Stan Seasons 1 -3. In HD with no ads wonder what ratings they expect to get for it on ELEVEN.

For those people who don’t pay for Stan or Foxtel?

Look like they can buy Warner Bros content nowadays as well so perhaps we may see more of Warner’s content across the various ten channels.

I assumed when this was announced it was a CBS distributed title. But yes you are correct that it is WB.
They not even showing all of the CBS distributed shows and yet they showing WB titles.
Interesting!

Not really, it’s been well documented here how networks have publically said they’re making cherry pick deals these days (rather than comitting to exclusive output deals).

Either way still very expensive.

Program changes:

The Flash starts Monday week Mondays 8:30pm double episodes.

Movie added Wednesday and movie returns to Friday.

And Charmed and Buffy dropped altogether from schedule it seems.

Where are you looking? The Eleven guide at TV Tonight shows Charmed on Sat 1 Sep at 11:30am & 12:30pm, and Sun 2 Sep at 3:00 & 4:00am.

?

Online guides. It’s not in prime time at all anymore, it clearly failed, that’s where I was looking. Same for Buffy.

That is annoying for people who were watching Buffy. It seems Eleven is changing it’s schedule every few weeks to no avail. I can’t see anyone of the changes making much difference to their ratings.

He meant the 8:30-10:30 Friday block where Charmed and Buffy have been airing for the past few weeks.
