Couch Time has been axed, finishing up end of this month.

I never liked it. Thought it was a time waster between shows. Sad that the hosts will be out of work, but it was a stupid idea to begin with.

Typical. Just as the show gets a write up in the paper… complete with the old timeslot: It's not OK for actors to 'black up'; nor is it OK to act out disability

Is it any wonder people don’t bother with FTA anymore when they move shows around after only one week.

P.S. I am now thinking it might be a mistake because it says it’s running from 11:21 to 1:50, then when you click on next week’s episode in the Foxtel EPG it says it’s still on at 7:30 or they forgot to change the time length from what was supposed to be airing there instead.

eBroadcast, TheFix and TenPlay TV guides are all listing it at 11.20pm on Saturday.

I’ve just watched Star (that premiered last night). It is another wasted new US product that deserves to be on the main channel. I’d love to know why our networks aren’t even attempting to launch new US shows anymore? They need massive promotion like the Lost and Desperate Housewives days. Strict 8:30pm start and consistent scheduling. There are so many shows out there that deserve a prime time spot.

Maybe because ratings are low for American shows because nobody is watching them, so why bother.

Not doing themselves any favours by just dumping shows after 2 weeks. These multi channels were originally hoped to be a safe haven from the trigger happy programmers. Now they’re worse than the main channels.

After only one episode? Did they really expect a second rate Empire to rate on a Friday? It seems Ten is becoming just as trigger happy as the other networks. No wonder less and less young people are watching TV.

And they have replaced it with repeats of How I met your mother and New Girl. What a joke.
