An awkward moment the other day on 3PBS when a Forum Melbourne sponsorship announcement was played that mentioned an upcoming concert by Oliver Tree. The host had to come on a few minutes later, after some audience texts, to apologise and say the announcement would be updated - because the show will not be happening as Tree died in a freak helicopter collision just two days earlier.

I actually had a bit of the opposite experience this morning, I heard a few that they didn’t normally play and went against the trend of them playing newer more female friendly tracks, like these

I’d actually have thought that Crash Test Dummies were more befitting of JJJ’s music, that was their one song that got worldwide mainstream attention.

Afternoons and Coffeespoons was their other hit, but I think that only made the bottom of the Top 50. Both it and Mmm Mmm.. got a decent amount of airplay on commercial radio, though I much prefer Afternoons and Coffeespoons as does at least one other forum member. .
Naturally for a Canadian band, they had other hits in their native land.
