An awkward moment the other day on 3PBS when a Forum Melbourne sponsorship announcement was played that mentioned an upcoming concert by Oliver Tree. The host had to come on a few minutes later, after some audience texts, to apologise and say the announcement would be updated - because the show will not be happening as Tree died in a freak helicopter collision just two days earlier.

Just before a quarter past twelve today I heard “Rock with You” - Michael Jackson playing on Triple M Newcastle 102.9 and New FM 105.3 at almost the same time.
