Grant Bowler did a good job hosting the Seven iteration, IMO.
Then the Seven execs decided to revive The Mole (hosted by Shura Taft), which backfired.

Deal or No Deal was a repeat tonight. Looking at the guides from now on, Thursday’s and Friday’s episodes will be repeats. So now there are only 3 new episodes a week.

Does this mean it’s the end of Deal or No Deal Australia Reboot?
And once again, the spinning wheel that is Channel Ten early evenings tosses away one of it’s latest occupants…

I would keep Deal or No Deal and get rid of 10 News+ entirely. Could be 2 ways…
6pm-6:30pm: Deal or No Deal
6:30pm-7:30pm: Millionaire Hot Seat
Or…
6pm-7pm: Millionaire Hot Seat
7pm-7:30pm: Deal or No Deal
Either of those would work. DoND needs to stay. Instead of keeping 10 News+, keep DoND.

It would be a cost thing. Two expensive game shows that give away a lot of money. There’s no budget for that.

I would hardly think staffing and running TN+ is a cheap exercise either.

I wonder when this will air. They’re holding onto it for a long time.
If the prize cost was a factor then it makes little sense they fix the format so low winners get the opportunity to win bigger prizes. Just let it play out naturally with low wins when they happen.
I do think 10 would be foolish axing this just yet as they should see how it performs paired with Millionaire Hotseat (whether that’s over an hour or 90 minutes) but get the impression that as 10News+ hasn’t gone yet they might keep that regardless and just stick Millionaire at 7pm instead.
