Looks like a night of Ten News overload. Why would they run a promo which spoils the outcome of the show and basically tells you how it ends?
Yeah I don’t think a celebrity edition is the way to go on night one
Saw the board game being sold for $10 (from $49.99) at Games World at Westfield Knox today. The heavy discount is because the Million Dollar Deal which has been promoted since last year has been won (Trevor from Victoria is the winner).
So the inflated price of the game was to cover the cost of the million dollar promotion?
Big W are also selling the game for $10 and have had to put notices that the competition has been run and done.
Well that result tonight was rigged for sure.
Why do you say that? For charity I think it’s nice for wins
Noted Ch10 personality picks case 10 on Ch10 show and wins the top prize.
If it’s rigged I’m glad they did it for a good cause.
On News Corp’s From the Newsroom podcast, Grant revealed behind the scenes details about DOND. He said that there had been occasions that he had to stop filming of the show because someone holding the cases was not feeling well.
Still waiting for this to be announced.
Yes, I believe all the episodes for this year completed filming in March this year. I think it was on one the socials, can’t remember though.
Why is it so hush hush? Literally radio silence regarding this.
He was saying how hard the shoot was last time and how he was having trouble.
I wonder if an expansion to an hour might be considered. That does work elsewhere - although the UK and European structure of the show is quite different and much more leisurely, and it does seem the Aussie versions strength is it’s pace. Pairing it up with another show would probably be a better solution.
If that were the case, (no pun intended) the original format with the elimination rounds and questions would be needed to make the full hour.
Might need to increase the top offer and restoration to the full 26 briefcases.
The UK version is dire and looks so cheap
