Deal or No Deal

10 already have Survivor … they don’t need another show in the oddly specific genre of “Island-based vote off show”.

USD200m is probably more than the value of the entire network…maybe Paramount would be keen to give 10 away as the prize?

Including the simulcast, Deal or No Deal was again 10’s number one program for the night on Friday with 341k - ranking 15th nationally. In 25-54 it ranked 9th nationally.

I feel bad for 10 that it’s rating this low. I wonder if they thought of a female host for this show instead of Grant. I think people are more turned off him than the new iteration of the show.

But it’s not? Ratings info above says it’s often 10s most watched show…

Needs to flip to 7pm and it’d probably go gangbusters IMO. Project 6-7.

but would the project be a good lead in for DOND?

Yet, the post directly above yours said that it was the 10’s number one show for Friday night.

Deal will NEVER get the numbers the News is getting on Seven and Nine. Simple. But it does beat ABC at 6pm, where 10 usually fails after that…

Who knows, but it should rate higher than Project and provide a better more broad lead-in for primetime.

The woman on tonight is a punish. The overacting from her…

National rating yesterday was 318,000 main channel + 61,000 simulcast. That is the highest rating since the launch episode. That is a rank of 19th overall.

It’s looking like it’s a slow grower, but it’s growing.

While it will never beat the news, if it can get say 600k (national average) within a year and bump up the Project & 10’s Primetine while it’s at it, then it would be fair to call it a win.

Bump The Project to 7pm and add another game show at 6:30pm

Surely it’s time to do the opposite and move Deal to 7.

Last night DOND rated above the Project

No move The Project back to 6:00pm and Deal Or No Deal forward to 7:00pm.

Or…don’t mess with the slot at all if it’s pulling good numbers where it is already. :person_shrugging:

100% spot on.

Add briefcases with money to the audience of The Project and get someone to pick the right one during news stories.

They can use their multichannels to try all the slots.

Put a Family Feud repeats + Deal double from 5pm on 10 Bold, have Deal on Ten at 6, then Neighbours/Deal from 6:30 on 10 Peach.

That way you cover people who want the alternative to the gameshows on 9/7 with the Bold airing, the main slot on 10, and those switchers avoiding ACA/H&A on Peach.
