Deal or No Deal

So how would those 3 channels be coded in the ratings? Just 10, Bold and Peach separate for the program?

Previously with the Family Feud simulcast OzTam would publish the figure combined under 10, which led to criticism of 10 trying to inflate the ratings, same happened with Neighbours finale I believe, so I would imagine 10 would do the same here.

Networks are allowed to combine ratings for shows being simulcasted, or that are shown on different channels interstate (AFL, Tennis). However, the ABC doesn’t do this with.

Just one program entry.

Stupid stupid, the ratings will be higher for that one program

Clearly trying to make the ratings look better than they actually are.

1 minute in and this is super cringe. Maybe it’s the cheap set, the over editing, the awful theme music or the fact Grant is becoming a parody of himself.

It honestly looks like a Saturday Night Live parody sketch rather than a real show.

I give it 6 months.

Tone down the screaming and yelling stuff.

Why are our game shows so bogan?

Grant is a fucking nightmare annoying host. It’s only been 4 minutes.

22 cases, 11 blue, 6 red and 6 green. What was Channel 7’s case count? More?

He’s way better than Andrew O’Keefe. Plus his rivalry with Larry Emdur is what will make him a great host. They made a great choice selecting Larry as the new host of The Chase in early 2021 after Andrew O’Keefe was fired for domestic violence charges, as he has a rivalry with Grant, and he doesn’t wave his hands around for most of the questions in the cash builder and final chase rounds like Andrew did.

No 22 cases. The Seven version had 26 cases.

What does Larry having a rivalry (which is a joke by the way) with Grant have to do with them being picked to host The Chase and Deal or No Deal?

I’m digging it … more out of nostalgia for the format than anything in particular.

This is laughable. Who is producing this mess?

I’m enjoying it. Only thing annoying is the offer sound effects, and why does Grant have a phone next to him if he’s not going to use it to talk to the banker?

Also digging the set!

It’s not that bad.

Visually looks great.

Everyone could probably do with laying off the red cordial a bit though.

“But that’ll tell the people at home that everyone is really enjoying themselves”

Honestly, that is not how you create atmosphere, viewers see right through that shit.
