I guess she’s trying reality TV again after she quit SAS Australia.

Awful.

She’s going to boogie on that dance floor to some Jailhouse Rock.

Will Shapelle do the Boogie Woogie?

Absolute Disgrace and Seven should be brought to court over this rubbish.
I would never usually wish a show to fail, but I hope this absolutely bombs and costs them a lot.

Why does everyone hate on Schapelle for doing reality shows? She served her time. She isn’t selling her story. She has to do what she has to do to make money.

Maybe because she’s a convicted criminal and has already received far too much (largely undeserved IMO) media attention over the last 17 years?

I’m personally fine with Schapelle Corby trying to move on from her past, preferably outside the public spotlight.

I don’t hate on her. I don’t agree with glorifying a criminal as a “celebrity” that’s my issue.

What for?

I for one am not a fan of her joining the show but it’s not a legal issue is it?

Obviously because she is not a “Star”. She is a notorious criminal.

Paying a criminal to be a celebrity. Crime proceeds.

Out of curiosity did people watch underbelly? Ned Kelly movies? Choppa Reid?

I obviously don’t condone that. I don’t get the appeal about her either. Though she’s not appearing on the show to commit a crime.

My only guess is that Seven is struggling to grab the previous contestants who appeared on their series and have to rely on new people to fill the gap. Would’ve been nice if they went for the celebrities on 10’s series.

Was Ned Kelly paid to be on a reality show because he was a notorious ctiminal? Chopper Read once appeared on a variety chat show and that was widely condemned.

That’s not relevant, unless she’s benefiting directly from the crime ie a book or paid interview about the experience, there’s no legal issue. She can be on a dancing reality show based on her “notoriety”.
