It was in response to the comment about ‘glorifying’ a criminal.
Yes glorifying a criminal in the sense of labelling them a celebrity on reality tv shows.
Sure underbelly was based on those underworld figures however they didn’t pay the actual Karl Williams to play himself… underbelly was more storytelling then saying “good on you for breaking the law now let’s put you on our reality show so people can love you”
Watching underbelly doesn’t make me like the people featured in it, if anything it makes me hate them more after seeing what they did etc. It’s two different situations.
Courtney Act said in an interview to promote her co-hosting of Sydney Mardi Gras Parade next week that she had been snubbed by Seven for the All Stars edition.

I think Schapelle has proven to be a drawcard before - her Instagram for example went from 0 to 100k in record time for a recently released criminal (I’m guessing).
Everyone wanted to see her too in SAS. The water cooler factor on that show plummeted once she left.
I think this is a smart move - people will want to see her dance - most importantly - people who don’t usually watch the show will want to see her dance.
It would have been a great move for a regular season. But when it’s an all stars edition they really should have kept it to people who have already been on.
Just invite all the winners and runner-ups from previous seasons and be done with it.
that would be ideal. But tricky to get all of them in.
It’s been confirmed the show will be filmed at ICC Sydney from March 18 to 31 (March 31 should be the grand final).
There will be seven evening sessions starting at 5pm and finishing at around 9.30pm. Tickets are now available from Eventbrite website.
So do we expect 7 episodes? Sun/Mon/Tues for 2 weeks and a Sunday GF?
Why not just shorten it to Dancing with the All Stars?
Licensing issues I reckon.
All Stars is wrong anyway nice they’re not even all All Stars.
So essentially with the way it’s being filmed, all the couples have to learn 8 or more dances, but may only perform one? They don’t really have anytime between shoots to learn a new dance.
Bec did an interview with Herald Sun’s Jackie Epstein explaining why she decided to take part in DWTS this year. Bec only started rehearsals with her dance partner Craig Monley last week.

It’s been a long time since Bec appeared in a TV show.
Most younger members wouldn’t even know who she is (or was). Neither less, good pick up to get the season 1 winner👍
She won with Michael Miziner, who married Rachel Finch after they paired on the show. Any word if Rachel is going to be on the show? Seeing as Bec has a new partner this time around it could be a possibility that Rachel and Michael may return.
And Craig was paired with Bridie Carter, who also won - so I’d say she’s not coming back.
She’s been a presenter on Helloworld since 2018, but prime time show, yes.
I’m guessing they’re going to follow how Strictly did all their professional dances and have them learn all of it and pre-record them ahead of airing.
