It rated well during the Somers era
Sharna Burgess (previously a judge on 10’s DWTS and also a pro on DWTS in the US) did an interview on The Morning Show yesterday.
Most of the questions were about her new relationship with Brian Austin Green but they did mention that Channel 7 is bringing back DWTS. Could that possibly mean she’s in the running to return as a judge? She does live in LA though, but I’m sure she’d do a quarantine here if she was offered the job

I’m predicting Renee Bargh will be a newbie for this All-Stars season. I follow Jarryd Byrne, one of the pros on Instagram, and it looks like he’s been in Byron Bay this week and started rehearsals with his partner. They also followed each other a couple days ago, although I think Renee has now unfollowed him.
I’m pretty sure she graduated from a dance school and worked as a professional dancer when she was young - but I guess it makes sense that newcomers have some sort of dance experience given they’re competing against former winners and contestants.
I’d actually watch, for the reactions to Daryl on social media and alike of course.
He’s had his day about 40 years ago so he should just peacefully go away and never be seen in entertainment ever again. He was useless as a host of DWTS back in the day and of that garbage called You’re Back in the Room.

I’m liking the sound of the all-star cast so far.
Let’s hope they keep it up and resist casting any reality show ‘stars’.
I think being an all-star season where every contestant has competed before, Renee probably won’t be cast as contestant.
Having said that, I wouldn’t mind her hosting along with someone like Kylie Gillies or Joh Griggs (almost replicating the Tess Daly/Claudia Winkleman dynamic on Strictly in the UK).

For an ‘All-star’ cast I thought she wouldn’t qualify as she has never appeared on the show before.

She was never a contestant and appeared on SAS: Australia last year
Not a fan of the “wildcards” for an all-stars version. If they appeared in the normal edition, then fair enough.
Whispers of Renee Bargh appearing is meh to me. Hosting some “backstage segment” on the US Version doesn’t qualify as an all-star either!
The rest confirmed or whispered to join so far - i am happy with. Some good starts returning.
