They probably need a more controversial judge that makes news headlines to ramp things up a bit. Todd certainly ticked that box.

Herald Sun says today 10 is still deciding whether to renew the show for 2020. Grant Denyer told the paper:
“It is scary doing a show that somebody else has done and taking it to the next level but we most definitely did that. It felt fresh, new and bigger.
“I’m really proud of the job that we did. Had we not been up against Married at First Sight, it would have been an absolute blockbuster. It deserves to return.”

This morning 10 has renewed DWTS for 2020 and also announced it would be returning to Melbourne, the show’s natural home. It will be interesting to see if the show will be filmed at Global Studios at South Melbourne or Docklands Studios.

Hopefully not at the beginning of the year. Put it on at the same time as the Bachelor or this show will just continue to rate poorly. The female audience it has will be watching Married at First Sight.

I would say Docklands Studio, if they want to keep the same production standards as last year.
In other words, Fox Studios is full filming a Marvel movie. I wonder if it will also impact The Voice filming.
Promo just ran on 10 using Dance Monkey by Tones and I. Dancing with the Stars coming to Sunday Nights in 2020.
